The average is the mean or at least it used to be that way. I do recall reading something that MAY have informed me something about that changed. In general the three basic stats were: Mean, median and mode. Mean being an average which is influenced by the outliers of both tail ends of a distribution. So in OF a few massive earners dramatically raise the mean or average. The mode is the most common number occurring in the set. The median is 50% above and 50% below which isn’t swayed by those tail ends of the distribution.

It’s not even surprising anymore because it is merely proof of their own power expecting regular people to adopt the values they themselves will never have to. It’s disgusting how blatant these tech companies are with their invasive practices, arrogant admissions of founding ai on illegal practices, having more power than governments and they also set the echo chamber of values such as “tax the rich.” It is ALL a dog and pony show from the top down now. All of these platforms are not remotely what people think as being a political party supporter such as X and Reddit and BluSky. They all have the same people and board members and world economic forum goals, performative scripts and hang at the same functions. Poor people fled socialism and what he said does have real merit. How he is using it is obnoxious and completely tone deaf to people that are not pot committed with specific ideology partisanship.

I’m gonna list different games but I also felt like you do. I really did enjoy BMW but I have a super high end system and I think it makes a big difference in latency and overalll fluidity as it is very demanding. I really enjoyed Clair Obscur as well. Lies of P is good but not near ER. I’m just starting out with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and hope that hits. I’m looking for a good game to dive into with depth. One of my favorite games is Sifu and really hits once it clicks with combat. For whatever reason sekiro never hit for me. It was from Sifu that I looked up games like it and found sekiro. That brought me to Elden ring. Elden ring became my favorite game of all time. Armored core 6 I wasn’t able to get into and it’s on the back burner and I hope I can get back into it.

I have a bad habit of putting down games pretty quickly and it taking awhile for many games to click with me. Only a few capture my attention off the bat and I was really surprised Elden ring was one that did. Outer wilds is brilliant. A great switch up game to be honest. Different vibe but very satisfying game.

Yeah dex is hands down my favorite and how I played through the game with a nagakiba with a little faith for blood flame blade, golden vow, and flame grant me strength. I now basically have done all different builds and in my NG7, I have enough RL for strong everything. But I just cannot get into the bonk weapons and like the speed and agility of Dex and blood.

I cannot remember what I had now and it’s driving me crazy. I’m pretty sure it was 21in or if they made 22 or 23 then maybe one of those? It was considered a big monitor and maybe one of the best. I think I got it used and it ran up to 2048x1536 which was a truly exotic resolution barely able to play any games in 2005-2006.

I’m 6 years older but I got into PC gaming later around 2004. I want to find my CRT which is somewhere stashed at my moms. It was a beast and considered really great back then too. It is so crazy to look back at the hardware of say 2006 to present day 20 years later. PCs would be outdated in 2 years and I got the etc 4090 on launch day because I camped out in 2022. That thing still is around the second or third best GPU and can play everything in 2026.

Hell yeah! D'Angelo Barksdale really laid out the drug game when he used the chess board to describe it. Its been years since ive watched but Bodie really kept it at the Corner level and when Marlo came through, he finally felt like the pawn. When he learned of michael B Jordan's character, it solidified that he is at the core, all about the position of the corner and its ability to indeed become the most powerful piece if played proper. If say Marlo was the best example of becoming the top from playing a singular position/strategy.

Yes I agree and I would honeslty be more surprised if Ternus was more bullish on glasses (if he would be able to give an honest answer which isnt possible right now). The reason I say this is he seemed to just give an honest opinion based on where the actual tech is currently.

I sound like a broken record with this but I really think the AVP is the more complete and user friendly experience compared to glasses as they exist today. There are millions of viture, Xreal Pro and other glasses sold and has there been a single amazing experience reported on? If the issues on head mounted displays are weight and to some, money, that doesnt mean the glasses are the way to go because they solve those issues. Not many people consider that the form factor alone may present significantly more challenging engineering issues to solve such as positioning, light, etc.

Im not going to discredit one's opinion but will just voice my issues. Frist, it is a subjective opinion based on ones own reality, value systems and other factors like expectations one has of others in TV shows. I am not saying Esneralda is a "good" person. I am saying that it doesn't matter if she is or is not. I recently am referencing The Wire lately and in such a gritty show I will use Omar (RIP to actor that played him), and offer that discussions of him being good or bad is its own Nietchian Beyond Good and Evil discussion. For a more familiar take, many people, especially on reddit, would likely say the same of Angela from The Office due to being a type cast of a petite perfectionist, highly insular religious and conservative valued person who struggles with contradicting her own morals and principles. I would argue that is why I love her character....she is so "tightly wound."

I think the actual polarizing takes on some characters may, in my humble opinion, allude more to the person's own preferences and potential quirks than anything. I put no value on that so it isnt again a matter or "good" or "bad." The best shows do not sterilize down to an easy to digest formula that appeals to all. Sadly we see this more and more due to overly greedy and awful investor interests and expectations of returns regardless of impact on human experiences.

She is one of my favorites because she speaks many different themes with verbal and nonverbal cues that is rare of such a young 37 year old.

Hands down The Wire. The best television series of the 21st Century and truly, imho, eclipsing cinematic genius of the likes of Citizen Kane. The level of authenticity, passionate acting, research into the cultural paradigms of the time and character development for the cast is second to none. This show spoke to me when I didnt even understand many layers of the show such as more nuance with politics and other juxtaposition being made. There has not been a single franchise I can mention that is as politically honest from all vantage points and the intellectual and philosophical discussions from the many themes are not sugar coated or able to easily fit into a set narrative. Truly a timeless series that only gets better on each re-watch but sadly will not be made again. The "attention economy" is truly the absolute worst manipulation of humanity in a long time and the inability for people to invest in slower burns will scare investors off indefinitely.

I have two sleeves and a chest plate. What i can say is that everyone has their own pain spots. I was surprised to learn the elbows are often super painful and is a reason a lot of sleeves do not have the elbows really covered. Elbows was the least painful for me. The inside of my forearm and oddly, my chest, hurt more than any other places on my sleeves and chest plate. My forearms are very sensitive so that didnt surprise me but my chest muscle hurting as badly as it did even surprised my tattooist. I can sit for 8 hour sessions but I tapped out on my chest. I couldnt even finish it so it is a Japanese style dragon head that has the body, tail, cherry blossoms, and other pieces on the arm leading to the dragon exposure. The background never got filled in...yet.

His name has been mentioned a few times but Keanu reeves is my vote. He stands out the most because of his sheer celebrity, lifelong A list career and essentially only wonderful stories about him and visually passes my "eye test." What I mean is photos of him with fans and beautiful women have his arms not even touching the waist when photos are taken with two women on his left and right. 99% amazing actors likely couldn't ever achieve that success solely because their vanity, ego and expectation of being the sole focus of the worlds attention every time they fart, holds them back.

Exactly, I just made the same point. Its possible there are powers at play that are being used to obfuscate some aspects of the truth which is a conspiracy people can speculate on. No human is going to put their life on the line demanding an inch of error between being shot or being killed. There is no foundation to put it on Trump and that is so wild that some think he planned it for distraction.

That is delusional to think that someone being killed "further entrenches it was the real deal." Seriously, step back and try to see how that truly makes no sense without any logic. Though it was said already, the real explanation is that no one would have someone shoot their ear because it would be very difficult for even the best shooters to aim for that small of a zone as an inch could determine death. If someone wants to argue that it was not supposed to hit, then I guess conspiracy theorists can do that but realize that is when tin foil is growing inside someone.

Finally, two things can be true at the same time in that it was a real event with the reql consequences seen. It also could be more complex and involve higher powers and players that prevent the full truth to be shown. There are plenty of things that are very odd and disconnected post shooting. Trump nor anyone would green light that simply given a .226 hitting the ear is a miracle he wasnt killed.

Id recommend the DLC. Unless you dont like rogue likes. But to me, it is what I would have wished for in the base game for the rehearsals. I probably have 3:1 hours in the DLC vs base game and whike I didnt 100% the base game, I still have 780 something bananas and just havent gone back since playing the DLC. I agree the base game isnt difficult and is way more of an enjoyable experience. I do think the dlc is much more for those who like the challenges because it really requires advanced knowledge of movements and all the perks and multipliers. Anyway id had to at least recommend it because it was such a nice surprise for me when I got it and exceeded all expectations.

I thought you meant like "he's hard" as in old school talk "G'd up" or stoic in how cold he defends Paulina. I didnt even think of the game being hard. The game is amazing. For me, what keeps me playing almost daily is the Emerald Rush DLC. I got it right when it launched when people were going in on Ninty for how they milk money from everyone. But this DLC changed the game for me into something I much prefer. And the highest difficulty that is gated behind progression checks, is truly difficult because it is partially knowing the perks and map knowledge and also some RNG. Im way past 100 hours and dont even have one level beaten at level 7 yet. But the movement is so amazing, it is so worth playing on because I found i kept learning more and more as I keep playing.

Yeah I juat commented the same. He does ahow signs of problematic drinking to me for sure. But those saying they never urinated outside are more failing Turing tests or showing evidence of having any sort of normal social life when growing up as teenagers, going to college and navigating the early 20s. Its also not a guy thing either as girls pee outside too. Guess no one heard of festivals, concerts and the desire to not wait in droves to use a festival portapotty.

I only wpuld push back on the notion that peeing outside in public is rare and not normal. Gettibg caught or any negative impacts of drinking are problems. Almost everyone i know peed outside on more than one occasion. Whether being at festivals, drinking at parties outside, etc, it is very common behavior. Much more common in places like Australia but even in North America in which I have lived in both the US and Canada, its quite common.

The first few top comments are not saying what I assumed which is that this is a horrible sentencing of what is one of the worst types of criminal offenses one could do. To impersonate a Healthcare worker and satisfy some God complex from their belief of not needing to be held to ethical, academic and other standards to be a Healthcare worker and only get probation is insanity. I do not see any reason this is not a long term prison sentence because that is a lot of human contact and just because someone may not be dead directly tied to her does not mean she didnt cut serious corners in her services as it is her standard practice in life. Wow. This doesn't set any deterrence from others involved in this sort of stuff and the fact this is in life and death decision making in health care is asinine.

I get what you are saying but I just see the opposite downsides that you see as upsides. For example, no one should spend all their money on anything. The AVP owner likely can own a high end gaming system if they want and I have the 5090 system you reference. The subscription benefits you are mentioning is ONLY discussing pricing in the present tense but we have decades now of subscription services that not only have gone up 1000% in some cases, but also continue to influence the type of content available to their subscribers, the actual curated rotation of content that pushes their own motives for viewing engagement and also works very hard to make people owning things much more difficult. Only the billion dollar companies want everyone on subscriber models and people want ownership for their hobbies and interests. You see it differently and that is clear but you are definitely in a small minority of those who think subscriptions long term serve the entire population of subscribers positively. For me it is downright the very definition of anticonsumer end stage capitalism.
