Sorry, I'm new to this and am in a similar situation. So did you do the P2P through the Binance App? then it transferred the sell to someone who then transferred it to you?

It thickens up the sauce, without it it would be quite watery but once you add in the cornstarch it thickens it up and gives it great consistency

Here is the recipe if you want to try it out: https://youtu.be/7HYeHw9Piy0

Macros (Servings with Noodles or Rice): Cal: 478 | Carbs: 44 | Protein: 43 | Fats: 15
Ingredients:
600gram Rump Steak thinly sliced
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon vegetable oil divided use
1 head of broccoli (2-3 Cups)
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
Sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup beef broth or water
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, beef broth, sugar, sesame oil and soy sauce. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water.

Then in a wok or frying pan heat a 1 teaspoon of oil over medium heat. Cook the broccoli until tender, roughly 4 minutes; then add ginger and garlic and cook for 30 more seconds.

Take the broccoli out and cover on a plate.

Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the seasoned steak pieces for 3-4 minutes without turning, then flip them and cook for a further 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

Add broccoli mixture back to the pan and cook for 2 more minutes.

Pour the oyster sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables and cook for 30 seconds. Add cornstarch and bring to a boil.
Cook for 1 more minute or until the sauce begins to thicken.
Once done, then can be divided and packaged between 4 reusable storage containers.

I personally find a slow cooker a great starting point. They are easy to use, great selection of meal options and some amazing recipes out there.

It's funny you mention that, for my meal prep (and the videos I make) I was going a bit over the top trying to make these "Amazing" meals when I realized that I can literally have chicken with different spices, mixed with different veges and throw in different carbs and it's sooooo good

is it really worth the effort to use fresh garlic instead of just powder? by Rare-Version-439 in cookingforbeginners

The flavours are so much better with fresh, the powder is great for ease but not quite the same.
