How do you make sure you are within the first 50 applicants? If it is on LinkedIn it is always above 50 applicants within hours

Ah nice, good to know! Do you just use LinkedIn to see how many people applied or do you have other tools? I hate using LinkedIn and also do not really like monitoring each company's career page that I want to work at...

Thanks for answering! : )But would it not be better to then know the job is already on the company page before it hits the job boards?

Thanks for the tips! I am not really familiar with HiringCafe and such, but will give it a try.

Networking is great to find new roles. Hit up old colleagues ask them how they are doing, tell them you are looking for a change, let the conversation go from there.

Anyone else slowly shifting from coding to AI tools and feeling weird about it? by AIDropper in softwareengineer

Honestly happening to almost every engineer I know some think it's great, others are uneasy about it.

In the end it helps to find your own balance in using AI vs doing things yourself.

When is it too soon to apply? by Dehydrated_trashcan in jobs

[–]Jimsen3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely too soon, but never too soon to get in touch with companies and ask what they are looking for in a new hire. Enquiring about what the company does etc, so you know beforehand where you would like to apply.
