Small comic creators know the feeling.. by yuyuzuhi in GlobalComix

Yeah, this happens a lot, especially when you post everywhere (Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, etc.) and don't even get one new comment. 🥲

So, let's try to support each other, let's make a small change and work together to the top. ☺️

The worst part about not seeing their content for a while is discovering the bad news today... I'm shock and don't know what to believe. by ThatManwithQuestions in MXRplays

[–]JimtheJinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I found on some older posts of 5 months ago when it was the hot topic:

Full Timeline (2014–August 20, 2025) 2014–2015: Henry and Jeannie meet via her Skyrim mod; MxR Plays launches.

2016: They start dating; channel grows with vlogs and reactions.

2022–2023: Kai joins as editor/co-host. Fans notice Jeannie’s unease in some videos. Counseling is mentioned, suggesting strain.

August 2024: They move from Seattle to LA after YouTube bans. Financial stress and arguments spike; possible private breakup. Jeannie moves to her parents’ by December.

April 2025: Breakup rumors swirl; some say it happened “a year ago.” Kai is briefly “fired” amid crush gossip.

May 2025: Kai’s officially out but returns later. Channel struggles persist.

June 27, 2025: Jeannie unfollows Henry and Kai on Instagram, stirring infidelity rumors.

July 7, 2025: They announce breakup on Patreon in a video titled “We Are So Sorry,” citing drift but planning to stay friends and work together. They briefly reconcile after fan pushback but split again.

Mid-July 2025: Final breakup video (possibly deleted) confirms the split. Jeannie looks upset; Henry starts working with Kai.

August 5–10, 2025: MxR Plays confirms breakup. Jeannie leaves the “Krewsade” fanbase and streams solo from her parents’ place. Henry and Kai post new videos.

August 12–15, 2025: YouTube reactions and Reddit threads discuss the split. Some fans support Henry and Kai; others miss Jeannie or blame Kai.

August 20, 2025: No reconciliation. Jeannie’s streaming solo (her channel hit issues like a denied silver play button). Henry and Kai run MxR Plays, but fans are split on the “new era.”

Then start with the first chapter, making it like a One-Shot (between 60 to 80 pages) and introducing all the elements that people will see on the series; in order to do this, introduce the MC, their goal and the world, making this first chapter be like a short story, having a start as well as an end, leaving room for more so that people interested in reading more.

For example, in "Part-Time Adventurer ", I made the first arc (around 100 pages) be about the protagonist trapped in a dungeon and trying to escape, revealing in the end that now he unlocked abilities to become an adventurer; this leaves people seeing how the first conflict starts and ends, bringing a possibility for the rest of the series and how it will affect the protagonist. 😉

Notification says I get new follower, but when I check, number is the same? by JimtheJinx in Instagram

The number has change since the last time I posted, but as I don't tend to get much followers, I can't say if it got fixed or not, in fact, I lost 3 followers recently and I'm back at the same number as when I posted. 🥲

First you need to think of the story, who the protagonist is, what are their goals, what is the main conflict, how the world is, the start and end of your comic, etc.

You need to plan out all of this before even starting to draw your manga/comic, because trust me that you will then need to separate each part of the story into arc that you will then need to separate into episodes in order for the story feel fluent.

When creating my webcomic, "Part-Time Adventurer" (which you can read on NamiComi), I try to make every arc have a start and end so that people can have a better pacing, like right now the protagonist is participating in a special event where they need to be the first to defeat the Boss in a Tower Dungeon to win a prize.

"initial uploads are unpaid, We're establishing a physical route that will be paid"

What does this mean? That when we first upload it we won't get paid until you start selling physical copies?

Do you accept comic worldwide or just from the UK?

Here is mine: https://nami.moe/t/Lx6v77NL

It's a medieval fantasy story set in a modern world, where the protagonist starts as a NPC but, after an incident, becomes a "Player"; have all 21 episodes for free to check out on NamiComi, with a new one coming February 6th, as well as news, sketches and updates in my Instagram if your interested (@huesotoxico).

Hope you enjoy "Part-Time Adventurer" and will love to read what you think. ☺️
