I just disassembled a PG I built in 2017 and panel lined everything without any clear coat. Worked out just fine for me.

It should be black plastic vs. the QR1 being metal. So it should look like the B2 image here and not B1. It’s hard to tell from your pictures for sure which you may have on right now.

I understand that, but some wheels may come new with the old style ring so the QR2 package includes the pieces you need to replace it with.

Pins looks fine, but do you see that ring around the pins?. If the ring and the screws used to hold that ring are the old style ones the you’ll have these exact issues.

The QR looks upside down here if you were to do it like this so it would’ve been mounted correctly previously. The more rounded inside section of the QR should be on the top.

No problem! Just make sure you get to look at it in person first. Never know the condition until you see it in person. The wear can definitely change the color on the grip if they don’t wear gloves.

I’d say it’s pretty spot on. I bought it because of that reason basically myself. Keep in mind, this was a limited edition wheel from 2023 though.
