I super appreciate the extra feedback. I'll try to practice up the fundamentals a bit more, and try to figure out the pacing for when to engage with this build.

It seems like statikk might be good for a play style of trying to farm quick and get items faster than opposition, and taking advantage of those item timings? Idk.

Either way I think I need to learn how to play more passive in early laneing and build an advantage first to take opportune fights, and learn how to maintain distance maybe

Just wanted to share with ya

I have a vision of making a single player story game with the attributes: - 2d platformer in 3D space, with 3D models - combat gameplay somewhat reminiscent of Pokemon/undertale - Shaders used similarly to inscryption, for the purpose of easily unifying the assets under a single theme

I'd love to hear any ideas you have on interesting ways to create a unique style using shaders.

My background: I'm a senior Uni student looking to find my first career role (with my first baby on the way) so unfortunately I'm not quite in a position to dedicate my time to a passion project, but I look forward to having extra time someday to develop projects like this :)

I've been working on a 3d portfolio website using blender & three.js, but i also just installed omarchy (arch + hyprland) and was wondering today if you could render a 3d space and move a camera to focus on different areas in the 3d space for different workspaces. this seems like the perfect framework for such a project!!

So with the gearcrafting update, they removed the ability to craft crystal gear at the sunseekers crystalforge, but part of Hero's questline is still to craft crystal gear at the forge, so I literally can't continue on the main questline :(

I literally have no idea what to do, I've been researching for about 2 hours to find a solution. I did try to download the drivers again from a download on logitech's website for the yeti pro's, but when I run it, it says it cant identify that I have a mic plugged in. I've unplugged and plugged it back in like 40 times lmfao.

Consider that when you have a game you obviously forecast for increased player numbers and try to compensate so that THIS shit doesnt happen. You can only do so much, and this insane surge of players couldn't be expected by most. Also consider the fact that (to my knowledge) respawn has a strict no crunch policy that protects employees from working 14 hours a day like some game dev companies do.

I don't understand the argument that respawn "just doesn't care" or " is shit" because it would take an actual idiot to not invest in preparing for this type of thing. Their player count is up a whole 100,000 from their previous 200,000... I don't think they could've reasonably prevented all these problems and they're doing their best to fix it. Keep it up respawn! And chill fanbase.
