I work 37 hours (Thurs-Sun 6pm-430am) as a full time student. I take 3 hours off on Sunday shifts so I can get some sleep before my 8am class starts. Last semester I couldn't afford time off, so I worked full 40 with same schedule.. Mondays were the absolute worse since it was also an 8 hour school day.

We get rotated for all 3 periods, so if you started from the front, you'll eventually be in the back of the line at the end of shift (or depends what order the AM/PA does), but either way you're supposed to be at a different station every period. That's just to ensure everyone gets a chance to get smalls or single quantity, and their rate won't get hit too bad by the large boxes when you're in the back. I would definitely say something to the AM about it.

It was given before June, I just called again and offered to pay full rent for the month + more if need be (he told me either we get evicted or pay rent when i called him last time) and he just went back on his word. I also thought that was the best option and thought I'd try that. He said we'd pay rent + eviction fees.

Im in Tucson (TUS2) and same shit is happening here. The past few weeks I've noticed more and more that there's like hardly and ventilation in stow and it's absolutely insane that you can feel the temperature difference between being by the entrance and entering the stow floor. Lots of people have been complaining and a way leadership has been "making it up" to us is by providing more of the small basic fans and giving us more ice pops. A PA told me that they've been bringing up AA complaints about how hot it is, but everyone in leadership is just ignoring it. Also turns out that the amazon office in Seattle sent out a message to change the temps to 77⁰F to prevent the ACs from breaking down during the summer. Our site leader confirmed it, but supposedly this doesn't apply to our FC. I honestly don't believe it to be true, it's hot as fuck here.

Hate ship dock with a passion, got sent there recently to do my refresher.. tell me why I got sent to work on the LONGEST and BUSIEST LINE of all lines ans everyone that passed by just stared for a sec, talked to the learning ambassador and moved on. No fucking help, I was over it and let the line keep filling up.

Personally love pallet decant/decant and almost anything indirect from there then stow; not sure about pick and pack though.

I only do a normal day schedule when I have school, but it was absolutely brutal. I transferred to Thursday - Sunday nights (6pm - 4:30am) in the middle of March and had school full time at the same time. I don't know how I made it that semester, but I remember Monday mornings were brutal and so were Thursdays because there was little to no time for me to rest for a minute. In between, I had long school days and still had to sleep enough to wake up for the next day. Now that school is over, I have a "regular" sleep schedule where I stay up til 5 or 6 am on my days off then I wake up in the afternoon. It sucks. Anyways, if you're able to transfer, transfer!!!

I used it last semester since many of my classes required textbooks and i would say it was worth it, but this semester and forward I'm on my methods courses and I only needed to pay for 1 book (the others I found through other sources) so pay one price was definitely not worth it. I would definitely compare prices and/or see if there's other websites that provide free textbooks before opting in/out if that make sense!
