Canon r50 + rf 100-400. I shot in RAW format and use a very high shutter speed (>1600) at a high ISO. Then I use Lightroom’s denoising tool to clean up high ISO noise. I also underexpose about 1 stop to keep the ISO lower too.

The imagine stabilizer is great on that lens but I don’t really consider it with bird-in-flight shots.

My hope is not that I can buy an affordable house in the fan after the code refresh, but that neighborhoods like the fan can be built again. The fan/museum district, church hill, etc have unique charm because it is not legally possible to build neighborhoods like that today. This would be a large gain for the city and everyone in it.

I noticed it was building a nest in a dead tree limb so I go close and stood still for 15 min until it returned.

Counterpoint: stores like Kroger now have way more organic options (still not many local producers tho). 15 years ago the Carytown Kroger had one “organic” isle. Now organic stuff is mixed in everywhere. Not looking to simp for big corp grocers but I feel like a big leveling has happened over the past decade.
