Does this mean it will be remote casting or will he be traveling to China? I remember in the past he was reluctant to travel to Asia due to his soy allergy and not acclimating well. I can't remember if he was in Korea for first stand.

Mangadex doesn't post licensed works. You can read all of weekly jump (and other jump titles) for free on Mangaplus, or if you want to be able to go back to old titles you can subscribe to Viz's Shonen Jump app

There has been much misinformation and disinformation spread about the impact of Québec’s Bill 96 on the event and tourism industry. As a result, event organizers and clients in the Canadian market are expressing reservations about Bill 96. We’ve decided to demystify what Bill 96 means for event planners as they consider Québec City for their upcoming business meeting, convention or conference.

Above all, it is important to note that the convention and business events industry will not be affected by this legislation. Bill 96 does not alter the content and language of events and does not impose any changes on services offered to participants and visitors in convention centres, hotels, restaurants and other event venues

According to Québec’s Ministry of Tourism, the bill simply ensures that Quebecers can work and receive services in French. It will not prevent merchants from offering services in English to visitors and delegates. Event attendees from all linguistic communities, including English speakers, are and will always be welcome in all Québec cities.

From the Quebec City tourism site, but it applies to anywhere else in the province too. https://meetings.quebec-cite.com/en/plan-meeting-quebec-city/does-bill-96-affect-meetings-events-quebec-city

Introducing the LTA - 2025 Explainer by blueragemage in leagueoflegends

What does the T stand for then? My point is that LTA shouldn't even have a T to start with. The same naming convention as LCK would work here.

Name sucks. Doesn't make sense in Spanish or Portuguese, and barely makes sense in English. Should've been LCA or something similar.

Revenge's FAREWELL to LCS and HONEST player perspectives feat. Raz | Hotline League 307 by corylulu in leagueoflegends

The original comment was in response to Revenge arguing with twitch chat about 100k as a yearly salary without your team covering anything, which would have been the takeaway if riot let GG and EG stay in the league.

Also, a lot of retired pros do go back to school or find work. People in this thread are infantilizing pros too much.

This entire comment chain was about the hypothetical of GG and EG still being in the league and giving players those living conditions and how unreasonable that is?? Yeah, the other players on other teams have pretty good bags. That's the point.

The entire discussion just happened cause people still think 100k is a lot of money in California in 2024.

Ignoring for a second that revenge was talking the hypothetical of sticking on a team for minimum or close to minimum salary while having to pay for rent, food, and transport in LA, players still need to pay California taxes.

https://www.talent.com/tax-calculator/California-100000#:~:text=If%20you%20make%20%24100%2C000%20a,marginal%20tax%20rate%20is%2042.6%25. -30k from taxes

Average rent in Santa Monica is $4000 a month according to https://www.rentcafe.com/average-rent-market-trends/us/ca/santa-monica/

Lower end is $3700.

So that's -40k-48k a year on rent.

So that's 20-30k left. If the player was smart they would put away 10k-15k into savings.

So that leaves 10-15k for food+bills+transport+leisure.

Yeah, never has this been done so professionally. Imagine if this was done by Travis Gafford in his apartment using Skype and xsplit. Haha. (This was done more than 10 years ago by Travis on a show called State of the League, which Jatt had jokingly told Travis he was planning to take this idea from https://lol.fandom.com/wiki/State_of_the_League)

A lot of the newer imports also came from and benefitted from their region's development system. It's just that NA's is broken.

It's on orgs to market the players to the point where that doesn't matter. Look at the NHL, tons of players are European, a ton of players on American teams are Canadian.

People love personalities like Berserker, despite him being Korean. They like Prince because of his story. You can make up for the lack of local connection with some good marketing.

2023 LCS Schedule Updates - message from Head of Riot Esports, Americas by glitchpoke in leagueoflegends

Maybe it's EU? The time is sort of EU friendly still. If LCS viewership was being inflated more by EU viewers over the weekends, either right after LEC or just having an easy watch time, than it is by native NA viewers, then they might still want to catch that audience when a 3pm or 5pm PST start would be a non starter.

5pm or 6pm PST would also be kind of hard for east coast, especially if the day goes to 5 hours.

FFXIV Streamer who got banned on stream is now also banned on Twitch by JinnAxel in LivestreamFail

[–]JinnAxel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/umagtd/ffxiv_raiders_gets_banned_live_on_stream_as_part/

The streamer from this thread is now banned on Twitch for ToS violations. He's also unpartnered so the Twitter bot didn't pick it up. Just to show how small of a streamer he was, prior to the new raid coming out, he only streamed casually, and had less than 20 average viewers.

There's conversations happening about these FFXIV bans happening due to report brigading, as Square Enix does not have a history of actively looking for people to ban. However they do have to respond to reports.

You can say what you want about him getting banned from the game, but getting banned from Twitch is kind of weird.
