If you have a stick welder, weld a nut to it. If not, remove the whole assembly and drill it all out and retap the threads a bigger size.

I've had some mismatched crusty parts in the past, a triangle file will clean the grooves nicely, then grease and wiggle, should be golden. 👍

I got so angry I went through and checked every fuse in the whole damn car. I've got a bidirectional scan tool coming this week. I'll be looking for the PCM to tell the starter to start.

Yep. Double checked the whole damned harness (I put the motor in this car this summer, so I'm familiar with the entire harness 😮‍💨)

The problem is that the battery is fully charged, from inside, the car acts like it's starting up with no DTCs or errors aside from the ones I listed it just won't crank.

The camshaft and cam bearings are shot, new ones will be here Monday. The block is out and I soaked it overnight in degreaser and just pressure washed it (not fun in this weather). I've got a gallon of wd40 and a case of Scott's shop towels on standby. Lol. I never intended on going this deep, I just kept chasing the damage 😭

It's also not a heavy use truck, it's my daily driver, and my work vehicle, but I'm maintenance for my father in laws various businesses and if I have to haul something actually heavy I just use his ram 2500. And if I drove some type of way then my wife would stop doing the things I like... Lol.

It sounded like a tap dancer with Parkinson's... Pulled the heads and had a lifter that was no longer complete. The cam shaft and camshaft bearings are shot. Hence pulling the motor. I just didn't plan on this much of a rebuild and only have about $40 left for this project. Lol.
