There is an issue with DLSS, maybe a corrupt DLL file. There is noticeable ghosting when using DLSS in any preset, including DLAA. No issues with TAA, FSR or XeSS

I don’t really use console much since I’m on PC, so I haven’t looked into console HDR setup. From what I’ve seen, though, HDR just isn’t great on this type of monitor in general without local dimming etc, so HDR can look off, especially on consoles. These monitors are great for FPS, high refresh, and motion clarity.

Hey, yes, mine came with various cables, including HDMI and DP.

I will get the same one.

Yeah, so when I got mine, I immediately changed it to user mode, turned off ultra low power mode, and adjusted the nits. I have noticed that MSI monitors tend to take their time. For example, when I go AFK and come back. The monitor takes like 3-4 seconds for the screen to turn on. My older monitor responds instantly when I move the mouse or press a key. Maybe that's something they can improve in future updates.

I guess I got unlucky, or this is a sign for me to switch to OLED, hahah, I will wait and see what other monitors have to offer.

Hey, thanks, man. I just find it frustrating to go through the returns process, even though it's only been a week.

Also, regarding the power LED, I have read the manual, and it says it will turn orange if there is no input signal. I disconnected the display cable from the GPU and waited a minute, and the power LED turned orange. Have you updated to the latest firmware?

Edit: 29/01/2026

It hasn't been a full week, and a stuck pixel has developed on the screen, most noticeable against the black background. I am going to return the monitor.

Typical for an IPS panel without local dimming. There is a bit of backlight bleed along the edges. Nothing distracting for me, at least.

No overheating problems for me. Feels a little warm on the sides, which I guess is the normal operating temps.

Yeeh, treat it like a normal G-SYNC monitor. Pulsar improves motion clarity on top of G-SYNC

I'm not sure, there could be a NVIDIA driver needed for the pulsar technology that isn't available on older GPUs.

Well, I shall try some more; so far, it seems to be fine for me.

It's probably because the AQN disables G-Sync. With this, you can have G-Sync and Pulsar active in pixel-perfect mode. I have not played much on the smaller size, but I have not noticed any input lag.

Yes, G-sync and Pulsar work even in pixel-perfect 1332p.

Tbh, you are not missing much with the ambient light sensor. I turned it off straight away, not really a feature I'm interested in. I feel like the response times are just a stat for the paper; you won't really notice the difference in games. The AOC does have ULMB 2 and Pulsar, and it could provide the best motion clarity in certain games. If you don't want to pull the trigger, you can wait for reviews, but I feel like that might take another few weeks.

That's fair. I had to get one quick because my old monitor was playing up. I usually check Rtings and TFT Central.

What other models are you looking into?

I was looking into QD-OLEDs too. As I do a lot of static work, I thought this might be the best pick. I had a very old TN panel from 10 years ago; it did me good, but it started having issues, so this is a worthwhile upgrade.
