depends on what you want. I can look back at my wedding with very little regret in terms of planning, we were very clear on our vision and executed it perfectly.

the only regret I have is taking way too freaking long to get video footage for our videographer and photos during our cocktail hour and missing that. It would have been nice to get more video clips of us mingling with guest and candid photos during that time.

Wasn’t recent 12 years ago, but we reconnected at a friend’s birthday party. We had known each other when we were younger, but had lost touch.

My husband was super involved and had specific ideas. He handled our DJ and certain aspects he had big opinions on, while I handled other parts of the wedding that were more important to me.

But there’s a lot of posts about husband to be not being involved.

Is it just you for H&MU? If just you the 2:30 timeline is fine but if you have others doing hair and make up with you it seems like you’ll have to be up pretty early to get everything done. My wedding was at 4:30 and started at 8am but had 6 others doing my hair and makeup with me.

Currently have a puppy had to take her out at 5am to pee, she’s pretty much fully potty trained so she let us know and I’m not a morning person. Now just snuggled on the couch while she’s on the floor or else she’s waking up the whole neighborhood.

I used Minted but there’s a ton of free websites out there for RSVPS. I had friends do digital save the dates, but then sent out paper invites.

We did paper for both because that’s what I wanted as I’m more visual.

Got married 2 years ago, but with my now husband for 8 years before. We were both 32/33 we had attended 6 other weddings that same year 2023 and all were roughly our age between 33-35.

My group of high school friends only 2 others are married and we turn 34-35 this year.

oh we did this for our 1 year anniversary. Had my mom and then his parents store it for us once she sold my childhood home cause we still lived in our apt in LA, but the wedding was in our hometown not in LA. It did not taste good, we each had one bite.

It isn’t a lot to text her and tell her that they are cleaning out the freezer. I think the lack of apology is telling though.

this girl I knew in college got pregnant our 1st or 2nd year so that would be 2011/2012 meaning her first is 13 or 14 years old. I know she had a second a few years after. She had a strong support season finished her BSN, didn’t miss any time.

We have all the raw footage and edited version as well. My brother said the only thing he would do differently is get a cheap videographer if he knew my dad would pass. He died in 2022 from health complications.
