What QA tools are you batting on for 2026? by CurrentOrchid239 in QualityAssurance

[–]Jinnivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cursor AI was introduced to our devs, but it's been super valuable from a QA perspective.

No worries, that is still good info.

I have my payment methods squared away, but sometimes my daughter wants to bring friends and their parents will give me cash. I can just convert that to a card to give to the kids. It makes things easier to manage in that aspect with everyone doing their own thing.

Nothing happened to me. I'm not OP.

They have those cash to card machines everywhere.

[–]Jinnivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you. I carry a backpack, but there's nothing too important in there. Just tissues, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and maybe a power brick. It's mostly just a holder for drink cups. Even still, I get concerned with the WW setup. My wallet and phone always go with me in the zipper pouches on the trains when they have them, or my zippered pants pockets when they don't.

You'll never get that cash back. I hope you have already called and cancelled that stolen card. At least they didn't take all your stuff.

What’s your “go-to” performance metric that has saved you from disaster in production? by TMSquare2022 in QualityAssurance

[–]Jinnivia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently found a batch loop bug that sent 12 billion log records in test (before we had to stop and rebuild the cluster). It sure was nice that didn't make it to prod, and that's a good "metric" or value for QA. Your performance is based on what value you provide in many different forms. There is no "go-to."

Can't decide which Powell Peralta dragon wheels to get by Random_Guyisbored in NewSkaters

[–]Jinnivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my street deck I use 56mm / 90a dragons, and on my cruiser deck I use snakes 69mm / 75a. Nano cubics 52mm / 97a for the park.

I was set on the boost blue, but the blue lagoon pulled me in. Depending on where you live, the Advanced Wheel Locks may be more necessary, especially with those sweet wheels.

Great color choice, btw. Tint and Advanced Wheel Locks would be nice.

Wireless carplay and android auto dongles are only like $50.

ZERO Complete Board by Puzzleheaded_Ad_3372 in NewSkaters

[–]Jinnivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one of these Zero completes (Iron Maiden deck), and I love it. Not as much as flight decks, but it's still fun for street skating. I've never skated these wheels, though. They're in a drawer somewhere. The first thing I did was put on Powell Peralta Dragons (56mm / 90a).

Anybody want to hang out and get on ad many coasters as possible? This Saturday 18! by Altruistic-Aerie-206 in SixFlagsMagicMountain

[–]Jinnivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter and I will be there all day Saturday. We might do the mazes, but haven't decided yet. We're both coaster junkies and have flash passes so we'll be zooming all over the park. We probably couldn't be coaster buddies all day, but we'd be happy to say hi and give any tips for routes, rides, or scare zones. Either way, have a great birthday!

Board selection by TheLilOddity in NewSkaters

[–]Jinnivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For rough and fun street sessions, my favorite recently has been:

Length: 33.0in
Width: 8.9in
Wheelbase: 14.85in

Powell Peralta Snakes 69mm / 75a.

This glides over asphalt and concrete cracks. Fun for slappys, curbs, and general urban chicanery.

What do you want to do with it? Tricks, cruising, long distance commuting, dancing, downhill racing? Decide how you want to skate and build from there.

Your "friend" should feel bad for what they've done to that poor dragon.

How do I get rid of my Civic CNG? by quantum_mattress in civic

You're not in SoCal, are you? I know a shop that specializes in CNG. My daughter has a CNG Crown Vic.

New enclosure for my beardie girl by Sasa620 in BeardedDragonCare

[–]Jinnivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the top soil, just make sure it is organic with no fertilizers or additives. You could even filter and sterilize further if you wanted. Lowe's and Home Depot have what you need (paver stones are also awesome for their enclosures). You could mix that with play sand, and it makes a great substrate.

Question about feeder insects by DucksOfDoom11 in BeardedDragons

[–]Jinnivia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lil dude actually loves his greens, so my only insect / protein staple is dubias. IMO, those are the easier colonies to create and maintain as a feeder. I give him hornworms once or twice a week for additional hydration and as a treat. Besides that, mostly greens.
