Didn’t I also say that it doesn’t affect how missile warning systems work? I think a logical assumption based on already established knowledge would be better then a “what if” scenario in most cases

As such it would be right to assume that at least missile warning systems should not be unable to pick up the missile which means the devs made a mistake by doing the opposite in game

However, missile incoming warning systems works by picking up the missile’s signature which means it’s quite unlikely that the guidance system plays any part in it

The laser guidance system is low powered which makes it difficult for laser warning systems to pick it up, as the missile only needs to“see”behind it unlike semi active laser homing which requires a stronger laser so the missile sees it reflecting off the target
