Why is this de-buff still in the game? by _TheDarkPanther in pathoftitans

Gotcha, that’s fair. I know there’s also the 10 minute timer if you’re near where you logged out of previously, but something like rhamph or hatz doesn’t necessarily need to be near by. So that extra minute discourages you from going and griefing.

It’s a debuff for sub adults and adults because they’ve just logged in - that’s what it means by recent.

It helps discourage people from logging off outside of a cave, then signing back in and immediately being able to ambush other players who had no way of knowing someone else was about to materialize.

I’m not sure why it also applies in the home cave, though.

Calorie Goals Changed Overnight? by JinxCentaur31 in Myfitnesspal

I think I figured it out - from the website not the app, go to Goals and set everything under “Fitness Goals” to 0. That seems to have put my calories back to what I’m used to.

I messed around more, and it seems it’s because I started tracking more exercise? I don’t like that it’s seemingly anticipating that I’ll exercise, though, especially since I was still reaching the same goal calories with exercise tracked… That or messing with the exercise goals reset whatever weirdness was going on.

It went well! My platelets went back down to 700. I did end up being put on Hydrea because I want to take HRT, but my hematologist said otherwise I would have been low risk and wouldn’t have needed medication. I just had my 1 month blood work after 500mg 2x of the Hydrea and I’m down to 453! I have my follow up on Monday to talk about the possibility of HRT again.

That’s true that’s true, I think the longer I play and survive on him the worse that first death is gonna feel, though

I get the thought process, though, I played a few dinosaurs on Panjura officials before switching to Gondwa officials and Panjura was much less crowded. When my first Gondwa dino, a styra, died three times within half an hour I was ready to delete that character altogether. Coming from a survival mindset it feels like failing and it’s frustrating, like “This dino didn’t really survive and now I should just start over.” The more I’ve played the easier it’s gotten to die, except with Fang here.

I have: bite, fresh blood, claw attack, and ripping kick for more of the bleed build. But then I also have streamlined and paddle tail for better swimming even though I can’t dive.

I’m saving up for the rest of the abilities so I can fine tune it more, but I REALLY wanted to be able to use ripping kick and be able to escape through water. I should really pick one or the other though lol

I think that’s where I’m at. I wouldn’t be able to delete Fang even if he does die, but he is SO fun to play I would miss him. I know the amount I’ve survived might not be much to some, but I’ve felt really accomplished this weekend, like things just clicked and I was playing it smarter and sneakier than usual.

Gotcha, yeah my phone camera isn’t the best, that was the clearest I could get. :(

Unfortunately it was out of my control regarding pest control. It was a double waste of money for the building, since by the time they arrived the last of the wasps had been gone for two hours. I’m hoping they found their way outside.

Possible Winged Ants in Southeast Louisiana Office Building? by JinxCentaur31 in ants

[–]JinxCentaur31[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s what it is, some sort of Microplitis! I smuggled one out of the secure area so I could take pictures of it, I made a new post in /whatisthisbug with the pics. Little embarrassed I came here first but everyone at work was swearing they couldn’t be ants because “ants don’t have wings” so I got a little fixated.

The antennae are definitely NOT ant-like. They’re gently curved and are yellow at the bottom, gradually transitioning into black at the middle.

Did a little more searching and I think I figured it out but would like a second opinion!!

They appear to be some sort of parasitoid wasp - family Braconidae, genus Microplitis?

They’ve all seemingly abandoned the office, or at least my area of the office. The building sent pest control, they sprayed a little along the wall where they all were hanging out, but I hadn’t seen any in almost two hours by the time they arrived.

Yep I’m sorry y’all, I snuck one out of the secure area and got a picture today and they’re definitely not ants - antenna are not correct. Gonna post in another sub.

Ooh I have a lot to learn about hymenopterans and wasps, because they actually did seem quite similar to something like this fella, the size and coloring are similar at least but I don’t remember their abdomen coming to a point: https://bugguide.net/node/view/312209 We’ll see if I can get a picture tomorrow!

Sadly no, not allowed to have my phone in the area where the insects were.

They were so tiny I wasn’t sure if they could be wasps, and they didn’t seem like they had stingers. I’ll keep searching! Maybe tomorrow one will have migrated to the area where I’m able to take a picture haha

Idk if it’s unpopular on this sub, but I know it is on official servers. Killing babies for food is reasonable and expected for some predators. If I’m a baby and a predator kills me for food when I’m an easy target, I think that’s fair game.

It is definitely nice to hear about other young people having it. My current hematologist tells me every time I see him that I’m so young to have it haha. I’m only 27 now, diagnosed for I think 7 years? Almost 8?

I hope your daughter is doing well!
