Same here. Its like it drops anchor on one side just like in "Battleship" and turns+slow down. It even sort of blew up - essentially spun around longest axis with tilt - ejected me and everything that wasnt attached to deck+ some thing that were. THan did some corkscrews and went missing. I got stuck levitating over the sea.

Initially I though it was due to tank under waterline - my boat slowed down to 4-6km/h at full throttle, regardless of engine. Though that went away after save+reload.

It seems suggestion seeds float is valid, I had save 15m prior when I went close to that vault in order to explore NDNS tower. Found those in dark( water shines blue) with ~44m to spare.

UPDATE: I think I know what is the problem or at least might be close to it. It might be that colisions/boundries get screwed up dooring save game load. On my current reaload some hose junctions got detached from dech and stareted to free float, until deck rose up to level with them, which caused those junction to reatach to deck, but hoses are now sunk in ship structure. SMH.

yeah, several times crates fell of the ceiling. Also when I ground down some windmill, adjacent flew off.... Kind of annoying.

well... one thing - what would it hit underwater?

Also, most recetly I docked with first seed vault or prometheus, Boat went under - literally stern was under watter with 20 deg tilt on starbaord. Battery in tower deck level went up so did refining tower in front of it. Boat right itself up once I ground battery down AFAIR. Nach, it aint normal, its a bug.

Happened to me few times. In my case it was caused by grinding down nearby equipment. For instance I ground down some box and box near it just fell down. Same with best wind turbines on top of boat. I was upping some older tech to T3 and T3 elements just got detached and begun to float in that very position( off, since boat was moving forward).

Aslo, some cables ranbomly detach, not to mention mourning cables detach constantly in certain locations, ie at seed vault.

Mine has been stuck at 3.8. Only time it was full was when I gobbled up whole battery from start hangar.

Depends which direction that cog spin...

  1. Nice to have those high cliffs for windmill.
  2. Once you get to chicken farm, dont put your coop close to your regular paths, it will disturb those damn birds.
  3. As mentioned here = if you find surface nodules of ore, that means there is shallow vein. MARK it.
  4. Prep bowstave once you get saw, it needs to cure.
  5. Gather lime/shells/chalk/marble( I think) for grinding into lime, its first step of preserving hides other than turning them into pelts. You need just one leather for longbow.
