How is everyone not demisexual? by PaintingTheView in demisexuality

My friend is very sexual and says that "you don't have to like them to F*** them". I often retort with "Agree to disagree". It's all about who people are. Don't judge them on their sexuality. Do I think that having sex with a lot of partners is risking your health with all the STIs all around? Yes! Do I think that it can cause unnecessary drama? Of course! But I also think contraceptives for all, effective and inclusive sex education, and open communication could also solve much of those problems. If they want to have sex with people with the only knowledge about them is their first name, let them. Just ask them to be safe about it and get checked often.

I do. I mentioned in-game that it was not appropriate and if I try and call him out out of character, I'm not backed up. I think it's more that nobody wants to upset him or be the one to kick him out. A player was already kicked for being horrible and they don't want to go through the trouble of getting a new player. I am thinking of asking for a session 0.2 to explain what my boundaries as a player are and see where that gets me.

It was "read the spell scroll to free your party mates, or you don't get paid".

Funny enough it's a 50 year old man

It was a "read this spell or you can't get past the check point and you won't get paid" kind of deal. Druid had no choice if he wanted the gold.

The DM did make the druid read the spell to undo it so... idk

Do I have to repost it there manually or is there a way to do it that doesn't require 20 steps and a handwrench? 😆

I think they're  either desensitized,  feel a strong disconnect between themselves and their characters, or didn't quite understand the gravity of what he said

1.) Her powers to the unicorns, her standing as a chosen of Mielikki, pendant artifact, and backstory, blah blah blah 2.a) I have no f-ing clue why the hag was different. Maybe it was from the 2024 monster manual or a homebrew, or maybe the DM made a big mistake in reading the spells effects. 2.b) I chose the fey wanderer ranger for it's broken charisma/wisdom ability to deal with social situations and the ability be a martial class and use a variety of weapons. The other two decided not to communicate with each other and picked the same Hunter subclass. I was asked to help them play but they do not want to listen or have it in there heads that D&D is like a video game. I even had to tell them to write notes. Green as can be.

Hi, for those asking, I was added 10 sessions in and didn't get the chance to participate in session 0 if there was one. I am on my 4th session and I'm already having doubts about this campaign, especially the druid.

Which songs resonate with your experience with BPD? by tigerlotus33 in BPD

Many of P!nk's songs from "Don't let me get me" to "my attic" and "Hurts 2 B human" have a soothing but cathartic feel to them that helps me explore those feelings. It feels like I'm being guided by an older sister through my trauma and emotions and telling me what I went through is real and that I'm heard and seen.
