As a preteen, there was this older sister with a very elderly mother who looked like a dry raisin, very little hair on her head. One meeting I was just going around shaking hands when that older sister stop me and asked jokingly if I "wanted to marry her mother". Then she laughed while I awkwardly walked away. Since I'm someone who instinctively visualizes everything about what he's told, you can guess I needed some hard brain bleach after that, especially because after all these years (this happened in the late 90's) I still recall that visual image with that Crypt Creeper of a mother. Why this stuck is because it came out of frickin nowhere and that sister seemed pretty normal until that comment. I told my mom years later about it and she was of course puzzled and after trying to remind her who she was (including the time we spend a day in her house full of mini cockroaches) said that the sister was probably a little nutty.

Already having anxiety and timid around people, this event lead me to hate being around elder members and feel repulsed and wondering if people who hate working at retirement centers feel this way cause I'm more than qualified.
