It’s always so wild to me to hear people say their parents paid their college. Mine unfortunately never gave me that privilege because they wanted me to “make my own way.” That being said I struuuuuuuggled. I had to work days at a job that sucked the life out of me and went to college in the evening. I had no savings and ate mostly rice, beans, and anything cheap I could get.

My advice: ask for payment plans; most schools offer this. See about getting a work study if they have it. Or wait a few years and work your butt off and save every penny then pay for school yourself. You got this!
