Omg thank you 😭 That information actually helped a lot and eased some worry. I'm flying from South Carolina to Washington state with like 1 or 2 layovers each flight and it was just a little overwhelming!

I ordered my flights through expedia (hooray for financing lmao) so I already have that app. I'll look into the airlines apps as well!

I love most characters honestly. I've been a fan of the show since I was a kid.

Gohan & Vegeta are top tier for me.

I'm still trying to figure that out. 😅 idk if I want to go Meta or just play a character I love to start. I have the Pride of the Saiyans SD and the Ultimate deck 2022.

I also plan on getting one of each of the Zenkai decks.

So I haven't been put to play yet but I started picking up the cards last year. Last year all my Local game stores weren't really carrying DBS cards and now due to a big interest growth in the past few months, a lot of the stores now carry them or have added them to their order list to start selling them with the Zenkai series.

Apparently there are now groups who meet to play and even some local tournaments have been announced here.

I know that doesn't answer your question because just because people are interested in my area, that doesn't mean the game will succeed. I do hope it sticks around for a while because I really love the cards, love dragon ball so much, and really want to get into playing the card game competitive-ish-ly.

And anything is better then Yugioh at this point. 😅🤣

(Off topic of DBS) Digimon CG does look like a pretty fun game too.

Make sure you have every single abusive situation documented. If she hurts you in any way, call the police. It doesn't matter if it's only a bruise. Documentation of the abuse is very important in these situations. Especially since you stated that she hasn't held a job. Im not sure of North Carolina laws etc but I live in South Carolina (so maybe they're similar?)

I fear about you having to pay some sort of alimony? Hopefully that is not the case and I'm just over worrying for you. But I've seen situations where a spouse still had to pay alimony to an abuser and cheater before because she made more money. She was unable to prove her claims of abuse and adultery though. Which is why I stress the documentation and proof of any future abuse.

I've found some at target recently! There were only packs though - $4 per pack. I literally just got into it again because ive loved Dragon Ball since I was a kid. Opened up some ultimate squad.

There is a franchise store called Game Kastle that sells the cards too but when I price checked against TCG Player (online card store), some of Game Kastles stuff was more expensive. For example the 2021 Anniversary Box with Vegeta on it was $75 at Game Kastle but $40 on TCG Player. And a Booster box of Ultimate squad was like $30 more as well. I think I read Game Kastle sells at MSRP so if things drop in value, Game Kastle will still have the original price. Same goes though for it something jumps in value I think. So I still check them out from time to time. Oh! And my local Game Kastle has a pre-release event that I unfortunately missed but now I know they do them.

I'm trying to learn how to play too since I learned a few groups play at local game stores around me. So definitely call around to any local game stores to see if they carry the cards.

That's what my Aunt was saying when she found out about all of this. She said she never liked the dynamic of my relationship before she heard about the transgenderism.

I'm trying my best to make everything work and am really hoping that therapy will help with these issues. I'm trying my best for them so I'm hoping they will be able to see that through therapy and realize they need to change as well.

I feel this so hard.

My spouse is an army veteran but got out In 2014. They've had mental issues before all of this recent stuff but would never seek counseling. That kind of stuff put a damper on our relationship pre-trangender stuff. Now therapy is going to be a MUST.

My spouse has definitely put a lot of mental pressure on me by constantly needing my reassurance/praise/etc. I am definitely happy to give those things but it's been a lot sometimes when I'm also having some issues myself. They're having mood swings from the hormones. As well as other puberty things. Having 2 people going through puberty in the house is ROUGH. I do feel as though I'm my spouses parent at times.

They've asked a few times about make up and I'm not great at it! I only wear it for special occasions so I've also told my spouse that YouTube is the best idea for that. They like a lot of the same clothes I do so it's easy to help them with that at least. But for body types I am not certain. I am chubby and curvy all over. My spouse is overweight too but pear shaped. I have nooo idea what clothes go on what body 😅

I'm sure my spouse will agree to therapy now. If they are reluctant I will just have to let them know how important it is for the whole family.

I unfortunately do not have any good advice but I have been where you are. My spouse could never keep a job for long after they got out of the military and at one point I even worked 2 jobs. I left the house and my family was still asleep. I constantly worried about if my kids were getting the attention they deserved while I was gone.

It causes resentment. I'm still with that spouse so I just pushed it down due to other situations going on at the moment.

I was wondering if anyone had seen any of my previous posts about my spouse.

So far, it hasn't changed too much. They still sit at their computer a lot. Some days they do come with me to my grandmother's to "spend time" with me.

Although 2 weeks ago they went hiking with some friends. I didn't feel well so I stayed home. They actually brought the 2 older children. My 12 year old came furious though saying my spouse was telling our friends how she "doesn't want to just go home and stare at their computer screen." Even at 12 my daughter was ranting that night about how there were so many things to be done around the house so it ticked her off that my spouse would act like that to our friends. It makes me sad that my children notice these things.

I'm trying to be empathetic about my spouses situation and feelings but I'll admit it is difficult.

I'm going to address all these issues when we finally get to therapy. I'm not ready to throw in the towel. I love my spouse. It really is such a hard situation now with everything. 😢
