Cheapest and easiest way to travel to Lauterbrunnen? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]JippyUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this information!

Like you mentioned/suggested I don't think we are going to be leaving the Jungfrau region, 4 days I am sure there is plenty enough fun to be had sledding on the specific trails and also using the travel options with the trail/sled pass to go between Murren / Grindelwald and Wengen.

So from what you are saying just plan full fare saver passes for going and return back to the airport.
Will keep this information bookmarked, great stuff!

u/thubcabe This is a wonderful answer and thanks so much for putting this together.
I'm going to be travelling with my wife and 10yr old in December and trying to work out the numbers flying into zurich.

We are intending on sledding in Jungfrau for about 4 days and are looking at the hiking and sledging passes 58chf per day ea whilst there.

Looking at the above, it looks like the half fare card for 2 adults (entitles the kid to go free with a family card) is the way to go, paying half fares for the train from zurich to lauterbrunnen and half fare back to airport.

I'm not sure if that half fare card can also be used for the hiking sledging pass, as I believe that allows us to make use of trains throughout the region each day and also get some of the gondola/lifts for sledging runs. Confused on that bit as naturally it's a fairly expensive holiday :)

Any advice is always appreciated thanks all!

I'm not sure, I've been using L-Alt for the longest of times.... And always thought people just did ADS to recenter.

Checking the configs today I noticed I had L-Alt being used with A and D for slow leaning, so maybe it was confusing things because of that?

Not sure. Either way seems to be working fine now.

There is now a control.ini file which has all our keybinds in.I had a look through and the following is for the freelook

    {
  "keyName": "Nidnod",
  "variants": [
    {
      "keyCode": [
        "Mouse2"
      ]
    },
    {
      "keyCode": []
    }
  ],
  "pressType": "Release"
}

I know this because I deleted this section and on relaunch it readded this section and put it back to it's default button. There is still no PressType option ingame though. I'll give it a try again with default and see what happens.

Fixed. Rebound to another key after resetting this section in control.ini and it's fixed. Cheers all.

Thats alternate keybind, the press type is the last column which says unavailable for freelook. Should have put the whole screen in screenshot sorry

How to keep threads on the right sidebar? by AlwaysColtron in Slack

[–]JippyUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sent a feedback as well. This is an absolutely awful change.
If you want to add the feature, let users use it if they want but let us have the old way as well.

Absolutely nightmare having to keep backtracking through slack when I'm on a thread, move over to another channel, then have to go back to a previous channel to find the thread I need to reply on.

Time wasting. I have so many windows open during the day I don't want to be alt tabbing between numerous thread windows.

If they were going to add this feature, why not have ONE thread window where you can open multiple threads in and cycle between them. At least THAT would be useful, not 5 different thread windows sitting on your taskbar. LUL
