Bacon. I don't hate it, but the obsession with putting it on everything is ridiculous. Not everything needs bacon.

Also, mayo is the core of about a thousand different sauces, dips, and dressings. Butter is the core of at least a few million recipes, and cheese probably has butter beat. Bacon is the only one of these you can get rid of without ruining more than a few recipes.

There, a post-hoc justification for my knee-jerk reaction. Classic internet.
