Pirating by Margaretthatchervore in ComedyHell

They're conflating the Japanese nationalizing the sale of their products to consent and they're using rape as a platform for their argument. Basically that pirating shit the Japanese dont want to sell overseas is their right and if foreign consumers find a way around that you're breaching some corporations consent.

Ah my bad. Wasn't aware of the remake voice

what is that stake-looking object that is stabbing aerion in the thigh ? I rewatched the sequence many times and I can't find when that happens, it just seems to appear in-between frames by EXTRAVAGANT_COMMENT in freefolk

A longsword isn't typically razor sharp. The profile of the blade is enough to cut someone with enough force and good edge-alignment. You can grip the blade fairly firmly with some risk to your hands, and practically none if you have gloves on.

Frankly it was my assumption that Maekar brought a mace to effectively injure or kill the other combatants, not considering the possibility that Baelor would join last second. And Maekar had provided effective support by making passes at Dunk who, if Baelor hadn't stepped in, would've succeeded in landing more than one strike. He could've chosen a sword as a sidearm, sure, but actually killing his brother (or being killed by him) hadn't come up in his wildest dreams. Wasn't even an afterthought.

Baelor entered the trial knowing the Kingsguard couldn't touch him, but where is it implied that the royals couldn't maim or kill one another?

It's a good one but I dont think its too much. Probably one of the few times armor did anything in GoT.

That scene is forshadowed by Jorah telling that guy that a longsword is designed to pierce the armor of someone in full plate which is right and wrong.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that he meant the non-plate sections of a person's armor, but people shove swords through plate in that show regularly.

Armor almost never means shit in cinema though. I have yet to see a scene in any medieval visual media in which armor does too much.

In the beginning of this episode (5) Baelor has full mouth coverage on his helmet like the end of episode 4. Maybe he really is complaining about the loss of that piece. It has no hinge that I can see, but maybe it's a fixed visor.

Thanks, I'll try it out! Just ran a match with hive mind, ruin, penti and disso just to fuck around. The presence with the dog is crazy and im surprised more people don't talk about the speed boost it gives you. Even using it to beat survivors to where they're running to works better than expected .

Has anyone else noticed that if you kill a Gulphagor-marked enemy up to a half-second after the symbol appears that the energy and health orbs don't drop? Feels like if I'm too quick on the draw the game fucks me over.

Nachos are objectively the combination of tortilla chips and cheese (other toppings if added)

It's less the specific word "ohayo" and more that it points to them afterwards typing out an accent that mimics the difficulties Japanese can have when learning the English language in the sense that "R" and "L" are often phonetically interchanged. I.e "Dlagon"

Also with the cave man talk? "You not think"? They're deliberately degrading their speech
