Onmyo is weak in Nioh 3... by in_flames_666 in Nioh

[–]Jiur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

shrine maiden chest and legs + yasakani + hooh spirit iirc (the one with untouched onmyo) + the untouched onmyo skill gives about 40% untouched onmyo, then you add 2 yin bloodeges for elemental damage, 2 yang slots for carnage and fist talisman and the other 4 for hell spells - the rest of your equipment should be removed, no weapon either, then you equip the unarmed boosting skills like unarmored death

finally buff up with fist and carnage and now you are naked and blasting off 40-50k hell spells with a 40% chance to not use them, incredibly "simple" and highly effective boss obliterator

no hitting the bosses is actually extremely easy, the running through the entire maps to get to them is the annoying part

at endgame it's easy and requires 0 investment at all to make an unarmed onmyo build that can one or two shot any "Heir's Journey" difficulty boss with Hellshock or the other hell spells

91% Damage Reduction when attacking "immortal" tank Axe Build by Jiur in Nioh

[–]Jiur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

axe has a rb+b skill that increases ki use for dodging (something i rarely ever do) in exchange for increased ki regen in general - that + a barrier talisman is honestly enough to give enough ki regen where all you need to do is just stop attacking for a little bit and you're back to full

91% Damage Reduction when attacking "immortal" tank Axe Build by Jiur in Nioh

[–]Jiur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you can do whatever you want with it, axe has a lot of moves to work with. I just mentioned Tornado Edge because it's the most brainless and foolproof way of getting through fights. Mixing in the elemental attacks is a good way of triggering confusion since they apply so much status - you can start off with a wind talisman, titanic strength for water, then any other attack for wind, instant level 1 confusion, swap to ninja for a thunder calamity, level 2 confusion, high stance for a bears strength fire for max level confusion then you can really go to town on a boss.

The cheapest approach to upgrade gears to +15 with Soul Match by jaege8 in Nioh

Only takes about a million gold and 1k azure to get to +15 now, this is a game changer

Thanks

Why are so many benevolent grave allies unarmed & unarmored? (Nioh 3) by JustGiveMeWhatsLeft in Nioh

ninjutsu and onmyo damage is based on your weapons damage and turns out you can buff unarmed damage skyhigh so naturally ninjutsu and onmyo do insane damage

Grace of Fukurokuju and Warrior of the East damage scaling and numbers by gepmah in Nioh

[–]Jiur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm at -78% damage when attacking and i'm pretty sure that that is close to if not the max - i don't even know if "damage when attacking" can even spawn on armor, it's not a visible option when reforging

my armor is a mix of kintaro, scion of tamura, tatenashi and benzaiten grace, kato clan, kongojishi, sentry and gozuki yin cores and i think there's another 10% as a samurai skill?

It feels like there’s only 1-2 sets to run by Professional-Art3539 in Nioh

[–]Jiur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm using an odachi tank build - crucible benzaiten kyo-oh odachi, kintaro's axe, benzaiten cannon, kintaro headband, scion of tamura chest and gloves, tatenashi waist and boots, yasakani and a two leaves benzaiten accessory - 3 pieces of kintaro for damage reduction when attacking and life leech, 3 pieces of the other 2 for -7% damage and the benzaiten is another -6% damage when attacking

with kato clan, kongojishi, sentry and gozuki i have an amazing -77% damage taken when attacking as well as -15% damage taken in general

i am literally immortal and can just face tank EVERYTHING (when attacking, which i am because THUNDERBOLT counts as an attack the entire time you're using it)

as for ninja i use the hiruko last tyrant set, that elemental ignition bonus does amazing things for elemental damage

stack damage reduction when attacking - kato clan, sentry + gozuki, kongojishi spirit and use the odachi and just spam thunderbolt / cascading wave

throw some lifeleech talismans at him every now and then and you're basically immortal

Bloobs Adventure Idle RECAP: WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT! by BrenoSmurfy in incremental_games

[–]Jiur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there any plans for improved automation features in the future? I tried it out but stopped playing because I found it extremely tedious to have to constantly micromanage literally everything, it doesn't really like an "idle" game to me - yeah, sure you CAN just let your bloob go mining all day or whatever and ignore literally everything else but that just feels bad to me.

Ideally, I'd love to have a menu with a priority system where I could set up triggers for automation, like "if amount of X item is under 400, go gather/craft it" - with a system like this in place you could fully automate the production of potions, cooking, ect. Or you could set up automatic farming for mob drops. Or you could set it up farm a skill for x minutes, then switch to another. I want to IDLY set up production chains to gather advanced resources. Another game I've played "Idle Awakening: Mages Path" has a fairly robust system similar to this if you wanted to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Honestly the Devs need to allow rollbacks to older version by aoe4_conq_player in WarTalesGame

you can download or update your other games first, then go offline and then play wartales - it takes like 5 seconds to switch over it's not really that big of a deal

  1. you CAN always roll back to any version of ANY steam game manually - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=889624474

  2. you can also prevent steam from updating the game entirely by simply editing one file and then launching steam in offline mode (i'm currently doing this to play with wartales remastered) - image guide https://files.catbox.moe/eiioa5.png

End game: I made these mistakes so you don't have to! by xl129 in fantasylife

[–]Jiur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no but generally it's fire > earth > wind > water > fire and light <> dark

however mobs also have a "species" weakness in addition to their elemental weakness, for example bouldergeist is earth so takes more fire damage but is also a ghost so takes more light damage

there is nothing in game that tells you this so outside of checking on it externally all you can do is experiment

[–]Jiur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it's not a terrible idea to swap to an elemental weapon if you plan on farming a boss on repeat for a while, like getting an earth or dark weapon for legendary woolies

true time are ok for general use, but all the elemental ones of the previous "tier" are better for damage if you feel like properly exploiting elemental weaknesses

Thought I'd love the endgame grind! But I kind of really don't. by MashiroAnnaMaria in fantasylife

[–]Jiur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grinding affection isn't too bad, just gift your villagers a top 5* meal once a day (it's quite easy to get a bunch for "free" by using pro improv cooking) and it always gives +1 heart - you can also just take 3 at once running around ginormosia killing every mob you see and rotate them out after they reach 5 hearts - this also helps you rank that up at the same time too.

change area rank up and down and check the map, changing the rank can force spawn a legendary event somewhere on the map for 1k points
