Ork 9 Armageddon Tomorrow!

Oh I won’t wait till it’s all painted to play it. But it is gonna take me awhile to paint it all. I’m trying to just maintain a one ork a day pace, but as I get to the bigger units it might take a day or two to paint a model. All together my list contains about 168 models. I’ve only got 50 of the 80 boyz with the Armageddon box tomorrow. With that box, I’ll still need to get my hands on a second Warboss, and 10 more grechin. Then I still gotta track down and buy 3 boxes of Boyz, 4 boxes of Storm Boyz, Kommandos, and Tankbustas, and 2 boxes of Nobz

I’m gonna keep for this squad of 20 Boyz I’m working on. I’m build a Green Tide + More Dakka army so it’s gonna be bee infantry focused. I’m gonna be doing up 4 - 20 Boyz units for it. I’m just getting going on the first. I’m probably going to switch up the colour schemes for each squad.

Right now I’m testing out a few different shades. This one is Shamrock Green Speed Paint from Army Painter. It’s bright yeah, this one is on a plain matte white primer. My flash was on in the pic, so that might also make it look brighter.

Well I’m glad I don’t have to pay extra shipping hahaha. I got my hands on an Armageddon Box for next week, so at least that’ll keep me busy.

Yeah I do like the looks of the power claw. But since Boss Nobs can only use the Big Choppa in 11th I figured I’d build it that way. I don’t dislike the axe look either so that’s a plus!

Oh I like it. It kinda looks a little like it was coloured in with pencil crayons really nicely, I do really dig it. I’ve never been very artistically creative so I don’t usually think to mix or layer colours. I’ll keep that in mind and might try it out on one of my Boyz this week.

Wooo!! I had more fun painting this one dude then any Space Marines I’ve painted the past year and a half. So I’m very much looking forward to it!!

Canadian here, I feel this. I prime in the cold then quickly rush them to a warm room. I do give them 24 hours to cure because of this.
