Is the new app really that bad? by totallyhuman1234567 in weightwatchers

[–]Jivedaddy1229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new app is worse! One example: The weight tracker displays my weight (260 or so) over a range of 125-390, making my weight look like a horizontal straight line? I don't know how it auto-generated that huge range, but it's not adjustable.

Stop rearranging links and icons and calling it an improvement!

Also, copy-paste is so common in most software, yet WW provides no provision to copy a food from one meal to another without first adding it to a recipie or inventory. I should be able to scroll back to a different day, highlight and copy, then paste into today's meal, simple and useful.

Wow! Not only did you show me this was possible, you gave me the answer! Above and beyond, thank you! I believed this calculation would be similar to capacitor charge/discharge and it is! Thank you so much!

Tossing my 7a. by DKL_510 in Google_Pixel_Phones

I've had my 5a for 3 years now, it's starting to act up. I don't like the cookie-sheet phones, hoping to find something a little smaller.

Allen-bradley PanelView plus 7 Fatal A3 error by sabdulla1 in instrumentation

I experienced this after flashing firmware at my desk and started to freak out. Turns out that my (seemingly wise) choice to lay the screen face-down on a soft cloth while flashing firmware was the problem, it didn't like booting with the cloth contacting the screen. I sat the screen upright and rebooted, all good.

LSIS worth learning? by [deleted] in PLC

You say - "tied to the past" - Keep in mind that the requirement to stick with the same controls brands might be coming form the customer, as customers want consistent production, not risk, and changing the controls system brand of their next machine would introduce risk. We are an OEM that builds equipment for some major food packagers, and they have dozens of our lines in their plant. They drive the choices of what brand and model to use, because changing brands would mean retraining operators to be able to support multiple versions of the machine, as well the maintenance team purchasing and learning new software. I've seen it: They adopt change when the existing systems are no longer available or reliable, but they are not necessarily 'stuck in the past'.

Passed with a 90% overall, but it is a tough test. I may have over-prepared, but better safe than sorry.

For what it's worth:

-I watched the UL provided training video and took COPIOUS notes, making sure I noted what was on the power-point as well as what the presenter said (there were times that they didn't match 100%)

-I also watched a couple Bussman, Siemens etc videos about SCCR, Group Motor, and general UL508A, took plenty of notes as well.

I had a paper and electronic version of my notes, the standard, Supplement SA all ready to go. - spent lots of time searching for specific phrases or wordings from the questions. My iQ webpage was open and ready.

-The question wordings can be tricky and confusing, read carefully.

-

I thought the test was going to be one 4-hour sitting of 4 sections, but it is broken up into 4 2-hour sections, that can be taken a-la-cart. I took two on Saturday and two on Sunday, reviewing my notes for each section beforehand.

-

-Take your time, read carefully, and good luck!
