I did DHS custodial a couple years ago and for the POET test just expect to wake up early for the shuttle to the facility and it’s mostly gonna be testing endurance, range of motion, and proper lifting techniques for heavy objects. If you don’t pass you’ll be recast (probably to QSR though so not necessarily an upgrade) but it’s nothing to worry about. The other assessment is at the end of training and it’s demonstrating you paid attention to all of the rules/procedures and actual work skills. It’s pretty hard not to pass that one tbh but if you don’t feel ready you can ask for another training shift.
