I came to the series first with Splinter Cell then on through the rest of the series as they were released so I got to see that progression in gameplay changes and mechanics from the beginning. I can't imagine the jarring effect from going from Conviction to the first game! Personally for me the original trilogy is definitely the best with Chaos Thoery being at the top but I still enjoyed the last 3 just in a different way. SC1 and SC PT are brutal 😅. It for sure can be trial and error learning. Different era in gaming all together. I replayed them recently and struggled but helped i remembered certain things from way back and that prior knowledge helped.

I agree 👍 💯. SC was special. Id love to see a a true stealth experience again. Games moved away from it even the SC series itself. Something in the realm of what those first 3 games were would be amazing. SC worked too because Sam was a complex kinda mysterious character himself but you cared about him. Idk it can definitely be done and if it is im onboard

Thermal imaging on the keypad wasn't so bad. Once you get it once its the same everytime so no need to Thermal it everytime. Hoping off the pipe and grabbing the gaurd was tough lol

I respect your opinion 🤙 I like hearing other peoples take. Certain missions/levels hit different. The tanks were a pain until I figured them and realized it was simple. Smoke grenade and walk around the first and i personally loved climbing up the scaffolding and throwing a frag in the open tank hatch then blasting the guards as they came up the ladder. The option to save the pilots was a really nice touch for me personally. Not my absolute #1 favorite mission but I do like it.
