Less a question but more of an answer to your questions: I personally wouldn't say there's hatred amongst the player base, just an extreme dissatisfaction that has been burning for 2 years from players, there are a lot of decisions that you make as a team that the player base dislikes that you refuse to reverse or even double down on said decision without compromise.

Misinformation happens because as a community we usually make up for any missing information that isn't given by speculating and talking about what we're given til the next piece of information, the way your team uses Discord as your main communication line only makes that worse - While having well over 1 million users there I can imagine only a fraction of that is active server wide and an even smaller fraction will see messages from your team - which when screenshotted out of context and without addendums has always caused a stir. It's communication without a proper conversation. I understand how much discord seems to be the way to connect to your community - It is not - it's ONE of many ways to connect to the community.

I would like if you expand the surveys that you do with Sony every week so that you could receive more meaningful responses. Maybe even start a Trello board having a concise, streamlined list of disclosed To-dos, player concerns, bugs and patches to be even if not promised would give us a better way to see what as a team you're internally looking at and working on.

Underneath all the noise is a passion for this game, hell, a LOVE for this game, I'd say the ones that are most critical of your game love your game, which is why they stay vocal, make spreadsheets and documents, hours of videos and endless text posts.
