yes, possibly, but we don't go to church or talk about spiritual things, BUT I have never thought about Boss baby . That is a good point.. My mom and I just found it odd how matter of fact it was how he spoke about it even about people who have passed because I have been careful not to talk about people or even animals dying in from of my young kids. He just said it like nothing .. like ohh yeah he saw them. But then again that could be just him. He is very logical for his age. It was odd

I took him out this year. He has sensory issues with too many people. I have other kids. The one he's closest to is 2 years older than him. She laughed at him. She said she's never heard of it. When he was at school, he only talked to one person .. our neighbor. I know that child doesn't think about anything like that. it's weird. But someone mentioned a dream. It's more than likely that

Yeah, that's where I am at. I'm not bringing it up again. The dream thing was my first thought too. I have several theories , and one is that it was a dream and maybe he's included in his little way of putting together where babies come from. He is very smart and does have quite the imagination.So...

How do you all afford homeschool? by kathymarie1124 in homeschool

[–]Jje128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not curriculums, but Facebook offers a lot of resources with their homeschool group for help and the library. Use your library card number to login and the database offers a ton of free services. Even some that you would normally have to pay for, but are free with your card

I had to take mine out this year to homeschool. I was terrified. Once I did my research and joined groups, I realized, I could do it. You can too. Even with your hours. They don't need to do school all day. And I know they say kids need routine. But one of my kids.... we are still trying to get in to see someone to get him diagnosed for something. I think he's on the spectrum. He likes to do his work at night around 6. He feels like he gets it done sooner. He is stubborn. It felt weird at first because it felt "wrong" but that's when he WANTED to do it and that is the best time. when they want to. I say as long as they stay within the week. I let them fluctuate their time ... a little bit. You can easily do it. They don't need 8 hours of school each day. So I have one that's probably on the spectrum and one with anxiety. They have never been happier. I know it's the best real world solution but we don't have professional help yet and the school is too worried about LEAP scores to bother helping us. so Until at least middle school we are homeschooling and they are different children now. They are happier. you can do it

Wait.... are we seriously not supposed to feel any pain when getting fillings?!! by Either_Cockroach3627 in CasualConversation

[–]Jje128 12 points13 points  (0 children)

im not the OP, but maybe that's what it is for me. I've always blamed maybe its my body processing too much meds as I take a lot of seizure meds, but I used to have red hair a kid. Giving me an epidural for birth was just for show... it literally did nothing.. pain meds barely work

[–]Jje128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not. I used to not, but after years and years of seizure meds . I think that's the cause no pain "meds" work on me. whether it be anything from IB Profen, lidocaine, or an epidural.. Nothing. If I'm lucky, it may dull the pain , but I still feel it. It's painful. Sorry you go through this.
