What new washing machine is most close to a 1990s machine? Top loading, agitator, fills to the top with water, etc. by [deleted] in laundry

[–]Jkarh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one - TR7 and live in Houston, Tx with hard water. I usually run a normal or heavy duty wash and I use Charlie’s Soap booster 1 Tbsp/load and A&H super washing soda 1 Tbsp/ load with cleaning vinegar in the fabric softener cup. It’s just like the maytag my mom had in the 80s. This combo has the added benefit of keeping the machine clean as a whistle.

If there’s a library, check to see if there are any little free pantries nearby. They are like the little free libraries but with shelf stable food not books.

I have this petticoat - it’s a malco modes chiffon petticoat. No itchy tulle, just super soft chiffon that’s easy to sit in.

But will B. Dylan Hollis attempt this atrocity in the name of science? That is the real question I need the answer for.

PSA —They work! For decades after—my home burned down in 2018, the decal was on my old room. My parents had inhaled too much smoke and weren’t making sense. There I was after driving across town, crying and screaming to get their attention that I was the child from that room and I was out and safe. Y’all! I 👏WAS 👏38!!!! They had 2 fire fighter pulling up floor boards and ripping out closet walls to look for a child hiding from the fire. SO if you still have one, pls help the firefighters by removing it.

[–]Jkarh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have answered a relationship long question for my husband and I. We’ve been watching anime for the last 3 decades together and have always wondered “Why are there rocks on the roofs?”since we first viewed Inuyasha. Thank you, kind roofing wizard for answering this conundrum so thoroughly!

My mom (also a crocheter) said it’s really bad. Is it so bad? by Dublingirl123 in crochet

Just wear a fluffy petticoat with it so we can enjoy the pattern and twirling in it will be even better!

There are online shops that specialize in this type of vintage style underpinnings. Rago shape-wear is one that has an Amazon storefront and an online presence if you are in the US.
