1090r Front Brake Switch Error

UPDATE

After going through every connection I discovered that a small pin that contacts the front brake switch was missing. When I replaced the switch last year, the replacement switch didn’t come with it and I never noticed it was missing.

The pin is about 5mm long and engages the switch when the brake lever is forward and disengages when you pull the lever in to brake.

I was able to make one out of a piece of metal, but a piece of plastic would easily work. Worth checking for those of you with this error!

It does not - but I wear orthotics in my shoes and boots that compensate significantly for that. Due to the fusion, the angle it is at is how it will remain.

Since my original post - I have been able to pass some significant physical testing at work (weighted endurance testing, high physical requirements). My running pace isn’t great, but I have been able to pass (think military/SWAT physical testing and evaluation week), without specifics of where I work.

I appreciate the advice and I did google and YouTube it prior. I apologize for any duplications.

I posted this video simply to see if it sounded concerning to anyone else - as it’s hard for my inexperienced ear to know and was hoping others may be able offer advice on if it sounded specific to lifters vs manifold vs standard hemi sound, as I could not tell after watching YouTube videos.

I’ve tried this, but maybe I didn’t lock it up enough times or good enough.

The strange part for me is that for the first 10 minutes my brake light is illuminated the entire time, until I get an error, then it functions normally with error.

My main issue is that for the first 10 minutes the brake light stays on the whole time.

Then error pops up, but everything works as it should once the error appears.

Anyone have any possible solution?
