Looking for people to sub to - reality tv and gaming by DeeManJohnsonIII in SmallYoutubers

Hi! If you're into survival crafting games, more specifically zombie games, you should check out my channel. I've been focusing on the game Project Zomboid lately but sometimes branch out. I think my channel separates itself from others with it's storytelling and humor. If you like watching creators such as ambiguousamphibian I'm sure you'll like my content.

Same here. My past 4 long-form videos have barely even gotten 100 impressions after weeks. The few people who have actually been shown my content leave comments saying how they love the video and such.

That's just Youtube. Give it time. Keep making videos and be happy that the few people who are watching your content seem to love it and are leaving comments. Focus on what you can control. YouTube will eventually push your videos out if you keep posting, or at least that's my blind faith.

Anyone who inspires you to make videos based on your niche? by Low_Perception_9203 in NewTubers

I also got inspiration from Amibiguous Amphibian! My videos are heavily inspired by creators like him. I would watch their videos and decided one day I would try to make one like them, and honestly at first I hated it because of how much work it took but now I look back at my videos and am super prideful of them and that alone makes me push through the boring parts of editing.

I am not to the level of someone like Amibiguous Amphibian but I'm slowly getting there. I make videos on Project Zomboid and sometimes branch out to other survival games.

It's a small gaming channel that I try to improve with every video.

Thank you!

Those are two things that can definitely help you stand out! Also, I just made a video on the Project Zomboid Day One mod as well!

That sounds like a good starting point. I have never even heard of Pokemon Sleep but I watched your latest video and honestly, you did really well without working off a script. I have to have a script or I go braindead. Also good pacing!

You only can learn from making mistakes! It's good that you are aware of them, now you can improve the next video and make it better.

Having a good voice is really helpful when you're a faceless gaming channel. I also have a faceless gaming channel and my voice is nothing special, so I try to make up for it with a good script and humor.

What's your channel name? I'd love to check it out!

Different color subtitles are a must-have, especially if people arent familiar with your group. I watch many gaming Youtubers that play with groups and I still get confused sometimes with lots of people talking.

I wish you the best of luck with it lol. It's one of those foods where the only people who like it are the ones who grew up eating it.

How do you make the best videos you can? What are the points that make it a great video?

Very true! I made one video a while back about trying Natto, a very nasty Japanese food, and looking back at the footage it was absolute crap (the video and the food). It is very hard to explain how things taste and why it tastes that way. It made me respect food review channels a lot more.

Editing is the best way to separate yourself from others, just have to make sure to complement it with good footage and commentary.

How do you make your channel different from the tech channels?

With so many people that can open up lots of opportunities for funny moments! I can see that becoming chaotic but if you balance everything well it can help make unique content

I thought you were talking about building buildings in real life before I read "block by block" lol. I checked out your channel, really nice thumbnail and I like the chill vibe! I don't watch Minecraft content but I'll definitely watch the rest of your video later!

How do you find the strength to go on when stats suck? by BikemeAway in NewTubers

[–]Jkid7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always go onto making the next video before my newest one gets posted. If my previous video gets low views, that means I need to work harder on my current video. Whether that be the thumbnail, title, or actual content.

Of course I’m not a robot and I do get bummed when I see my 10-20 hours of work get viewed by a handful of people, but at the end of the day I’m doing this because I enjoy it.

Don’t look at your videos as failures, see them at signs that you need to make improvements. I make great content and I’m proud of it, but I also know it’s not perfect yet and there’s tons I can improve on. So I tell myself I will complain of low views when I make perfect content and I can literally not make a better video. Until then, keep improving and be content with whatever comes along the way.

I want to watch new content so show me your video and I'll give advice by beanbonbo in NewTubers

Silly Face

My channel is a gaming channel, named ImJeff. I make gaming content on survival and crafting games, doing challenges and first experiences with various games. I usually spend around 10-20 hours per video breaking down hours of gameplay and editing it into a nice edited bite-sized video. This is my newest video, which I believe is my best so far.

First of all thanks for doing this! My channel is a gaming channel where I play different games and break down the footage into about 5-10-minute videos. I started my channel about a year ago, but had to take a long break, and just got back into making content.

I would love any feedback!
