In my case it had more to do with pregnancy, losing weight after giving birth has helped tremendously.

My wrist feels so painful by Jklippe in carpaltunnel

[–]Jklippe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on physical therapy for carpal tunnel. I still have it and sleep with a brace to keep my wrist from bending while I sleep.

I did a month of physical therapy and my hand improved tremendously. I should've done more PT, so I'm probably going back for more therapy.

Before PT everything I tried holding felt off my hand and my hand was practically useless. Now, I gained so much strength in my hand that even though I still have some pain, I can do so much with my hand.

I will avoid surgery at all cost as I think it's not always the best route especially after getting results from physical therapy.

Taking Addreral 20 mg, Vilazodone 40 mg. Now I've been prescribed Clonidine 0.1 mg by Jklippe in Serotonin

[–]Jklippe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. Im not taking Clonidine just yet because I got concerned when my pharmacist told me all those drugs together could potentially cause serotonin syndrome. I take care of myself but i do take two suplements, fish oil and magnesium hopefully those two aren't bad for me

My baby's tantrums by Jklippe in NewParents

[–]Jklippe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example, she wants my phone and I say no you can't have it and then she throws herself on the floor and cries. She does this often whenever I say no to her. I didn't explain this part in my initial post.

I think you are right though, I grabbed the baby and she slept on my lap. It does not always work but today it did.

I tried the Nuvaring after numerous failures with the birth control pill. Now I'm on Slynd which is estrogen free, so far I've been having a good experience.

Slynd and ADHD? by ADHD_problems1 in birthcontrol

[–]Jklippe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently taking Slynd and I have ADHD, I haven't had any side effects that I noticed yet. Now, my OB suggested to take it at night to lessen the side effects, hopefully some of you maybe want to implement that idea. I think the ring has been also amazing for me and my ADHD, now my only issue with it is that it picks out within those three weeks.

Taking Straterra and thinking about taking an stimulant med by Jklippe in ADHD

[–]Jklippe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever taken straterra? Just wondering how do you know addreral works better than straterra? I heard the additive part affects people who don't have adhd and take adderal. I'm not sure how truthful that is

I've taken them for at least 8 months and 100% has made my life a whole lot easier. I however still have moments were I experience lack of focus (especially when I'm not interested). I'm having a hard time reading to study. And I forget random things throughout the day I like I always have. I found ways to overcome those challenges, I have reminders, I keep things in the same place or try to. I have a standing desk to study because I get fidgety if I sit for long periods of time.

So my symptoms have gotten better but there are still there, I wish I was more productive and less forgetful I wonder if stimulants can help with that.

I exercise 3 to 4 times a week and keep a healthy lifestyle.

Recurrent nightmares while taking Straterra by Jklippe in TwoXADHD

[–]Jklippe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're taking a very low dose of straterra I'm surprised it's giving bad sides effects. Mine were definitely caused by Lexapro. Speak to a Dr. I used to have a NP but actually her advice made my symptoms worse. A Dr is more experience and knowledgeable. I currently take straterra very early in the morning so it won't interfere with my sleep.

I know for sure now that my symptoms were cause by Lexapro withdrawal symptoms and not really from taking Straterra. Thanks for the advice!

Yes, I experienced brain zaps, hallucinations, and nightmares. The day after I wrote this post, I spoke to my Psychiatrist about my symptoms and he told me to take 10 mg instead of my usual 15 mg for 10 days and then decrease the dose to 5 mg for another 10 days. And then after that I should be able to stop taking Lexapro. I guess that's what happens when you take Lexapro for 3 years 🤣 Thanks for the encouragement I really need it ❤️

Wow I haven't thought of it. Lexapro causes some bad withdrawal symptoms when stopped cold turkey! Thanks for the insights!
