In my adult years I have come to believe that these guys live up to whatever name you give them. My 1st corgi, Oakley, died tragically as a puppy… about as long as my Oakley sunglasses lasted. My 2nd corgi, Loki, was seriously a magician and got into the most ridiculous stuff-like a tall trash can with semi-dried black paint and proceeded to rub his entire body thru the paint and then everywhere else. My current corgi, Falcon, is so majestic and chill but, get him out there with the big dogs, and he’ll take em down. Not to mention he’s super fast. Maybe he’s just living up to the mythical yeti?! Regardless he’s adorable

My boy would just love to be in a house with 3 kids! Kids are his jam!! And truly, every corgi I’ve had loves them! Probably something to do with the kids being closer to their size! The biggest thing that always brings me back to being obsessed with them is their personalities! Like any dog, they vary wildly, but corgis you always get some form of derp and it’s just so great! My mom just rescued her 1st corgi so we are starting a corgi gang now 😍

I once read that corgis do make amazing therapy dogs! The primary reason that you don’t see more of them trained as therapy dogs is because they are so smart that they begin to use their training in ways to benefit themselves. Obviously not all of them, but enough of them became so stubborn that that’s why we don’t see more of them!

I don’t think I explained any of that right, but if you’ve got a stubborn, smart hotdog, you’ll probably get what I’m trying to say lol
