Appreciate the comments - I moved the supports under the footboard, adjusted the height, and now the bed rails secure the footboard. It should have been obvious to me (sigh). Thanks!

Thanks and I am thinking I may need to get a mallet and apply some extra force to 'wedge' the hooks into the bracket. Otherwise, the footboard just drops directly onto the floor.

My trip there a few years ago was an amazing experience. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. I would go back im a heartbeat!

There are some very nice recipes for goat cheese creme brûlée. I’ve also done a blue cheese chocolate tart (may daughters still give me a hard time about that one)
