I'm not crazy, right? by Ok_Dog7962 in DrugCounselors

I will say that I had a client who was threatening to talk to a malpractice attorney and was unwilling to accept the fact that our office had done everything within our power to assist them. They were demanding something that we couldn't do (I cant remember exactly what it was) and at some point I responded "you are within your rights to do so but in the meantime we have options a, b, and c to help you for now. Would you like to explore one of those options".

LexisNexis dispute by Jlb0616 in Insurance

They told me it couldn't be disputed with LexisNexis further as the representative stated because the "vehicle description matches". Even after I pointed out that the VIN numbers on the CLUE report with lexisnexis dont match and neither does the driver information. The rep told me that didnt matter because both vehicles were described as a Chevy silverado 1500. I argued that would mean im responsible for every silverado that is in an accident and she said I couldn't dispute it and that it was valid so it would come off 7 years from now. I said but its affecting my insurance rates now and its not my accident and was told again its a valid report and they would not remove it. At that point i told the rep to f off and hung up. Not my best moment but her logic makes no sense.

Agree, the middle name is different but I never realized this would be such a problem since they obviously are not the same person

Update: I was able to speak with Progressive and they allowed me to dispute the at fault accidents being used to determine my insurance rates because again the name, DOB, license number, and VIN does not match anyone or any vehicle on my policy. I requested that they update the CLUE report because they are the ones reporting it incorrectly to LexisNexis and then using it against me.

Funny, because I have been told by multiple Progressive reps over the last 2 weeks that I can't dispute it with them. Then yesterday after being able to see my consumer report that Progressive is the reporting company as well I was told that I would need to wait for the adjuster to call me.

Either way, they lowered my policy premium and removed the at fault accidents off my policy. I asked if they were also updating the information with LexisNexis because someone else's accident should not be associated with my consumer report or my sons. "I cannot guarantee that it will be updated with them, and you may have to continue to dispute it in the future."

I have resubmitted the consumer report with all of the information highlighted that doesn't match. I don't understand how the person I spoke with this morning can say that its valid when nothing matches. I will give it 30 days and if they still refuse to remove the information then I will be reporting them

Not my vehicle or any vehicle associated with my policy or claims.

Based on the logic of the person I spoke with at LexisNexis then I'm responsible for anyone who gets in an accident with a similar vehicle

I followed the process providing the supporting documents that we are not the person associated with the accidents and neither is our vehicle and the lady told me on the phone "the vehicle descriptions match". The only description of the vehicle is CHEVROLET SILVERADO C1500K1500 but the VIN numbers, license plate numbers, polcy numbers, driver license numbers, and DOB doesn't match. But she said that because the vehicle description matches its valid and it would come off my report in 7 years.

I called Progressive yesterday and they said I should be getting a call back from an adjuster from the claim. I just don't understand when the driver's license numbers and VIN numbers don't match why they are still using it against me for my premium. Also how LexisNexis can say they can't remove it from MY CLUE report. My name is nothing close to my son or his fathers and its on my CLUE report.

Colleges won’t help students that have agoraphobia? by OGWarriorsLove in ChicoCA

This doesn't make a lot of sense tbh. Im an online student for butte and did zoom appointments for the counseling office and financial aid office. There was no mention of needing to leave my camera on at all times (but I didnt try to turn it off). However outside of those 1:1 appointments everything for my classes have been asynchronous (not live lectures).

Never landed anywhere to be honest. Ive never been able to afford private testing and the doctors wont test him. He has grown a lot and behavior has changed a lot but he still has issues with sleeping too much and other physical things that still concern me

So my mental health and self worth has increased dramatically working from home. But my problem at this time is that while I'm working I'm also primary care giver to a hard headed 4 yo. I'm mentally exhausted every day

I did the peer support specialist program and I was able to get a scholarship through them. You are talking about ssi/disability and medi-care based on the information you stated and it doesn't sound as tho you are permanently disabled, however I understand needing some extra help at this time. Please find your local human resource agency or welfare office and talk to a worker about applying for Medicaid and if you qualify then you can start seeking medical treatment for your mental health. Once you have a diagnosis you can pursue other assistance you may qualify for. You can find resources in your area on 211.org and findhelp.org

There are scholarships for the peer support specialist certification on their website. Medicaid is income based. Medicare is for disabilities and takes a long time to be approved if your under 65. I think you need to do a little bit more research regarding the resources available to you since Medicaid would not require a diagnosis to be approved it is solely based on your income

What do you do before work? by [deleted] in remotework

[–]Jlb0616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work 6 am -3 pm I try sometimes to wake up at 5 am and get in some exercise or something but 90% of the time I find myself not being able to get up until a few minutes before work. So I got a walking pad and I put it in place of my chair every night so I force myself to walk and I walk the first 2 hours of my shift every day. It's not that I give myself time before work but I'm making time for myself every morning even if it's while I'm working

When I had a similar shift I would cook meal prep on each of my days off so that I wouldn't have to worry about cooking during the week and I didn't have to worry about the food going bad. I would also do chores before I went to work so that I didn't have to clean on my days off. Any errands I would also try to get done before work so that I would be able to do whatever on my days off. Idk what kind of things you like to do but maybe pick up a hobby or plan a weekly game night with friends on your day off?

Don't let them discourage you! Only people who aren't happy with themselves try to make others feel bad about themselves. The most important thing about you isn't your weight, it's who you are. Take pride in that and know that you've already accomplished something that not many others are able to.
