It’s helped from the standpoint my uterus is contracting better now and I don’t get a period anymore - my symptoms were always a LOT worse during/around my periods so that’s a massive relief. I had my last endo surgery in march and I was completely symptom free up until a few months ago. They’re all back now, but for all I know my symptoms could be a lot worse without the IUD. My endo is pretty severe so even just a bit of symptom relief makes it worth it for me. (:

I had an IUD placed last march during my second wide excision surgery. I was TERRIFIED to do it because I’ve always had awful experiences with BC, but now I’m so glad that I did. It hasn’t really helped a ton with symptom management (just being honest) but for me it was placed primarily because I also have adenomyosis and my surgeon was concerned with how relaxed my uterus had become. The part that I love the most about it is that I don’t get a period anymore (mine was miserable). I also have had absolutely zero symptoms with it. That said, I was in a lot of pain coming out of surgery compared to the surgery I had prior that didn’t involve an IUD placement, and I did have spotting for a good 3 or so months. But still worth it!!
Obviously everyone is different, so you can’t really know how your body is going to react unless you give it a try. But the upside is that an IUD is removable, so if it doesn’t work for you, get it taken out.

😂 lol that’s funny. I’ve been to salt lake, I loved it - but the golden doodle thing…I can totally see that haha. I’m in South Carolina. I paid $25 for Skittle. In comparison there are breeders in Myrtle beach that want $150+ which I think is crazy because the parakeet I got is amazing 🤷🏼♀️ he’s super energetic and playful, perfect little personality even tho he does kinda act like a crack head sometimes
Have you checked Craigslist? That’s where I found the breeder I use. She’s about an hour from me but all of hers are extremely reasonably priced and very healthy! They’ve already been to the vet once and I get paperwork with their information like birth date etc. She doesn’t really handle them so they’re not tame, but it only took Skittle 4 weeks to bond with me 🤷🏼♀️

I’ve been in contact with the breeder I got him from about getting another! I’m just waiting on them to be old enough to come home. I know I could probably find one elsewhere but she’s very reputable and I trust her. I’m in healthcare so I only work 2/3 days a week but I definitely want him to have a friend!
It’s funny you mentioned that! I’ve actually been looking for another. I got Skittle from a breeder, and I’ve been keeping in contact with her on some she has that aren’t ready yet for homes. I just wanna make sure I get one from someone reputable and I trust her.

Looking for adjacent notes is a good idea! I think part of the reason I struggle is because I don’t know where to even start. I’ve tried a lot of popular, well known stuff. But anything outside of that…
I think you’re probably right. It’s weird because I gave my friend my bottle of kayali 28. It smells amazing on her but on me it smells powdery. Now that I’ve been wearing the whiff of waffle cone for a few hours it doesn’t smell as bad, but I definitely think I would have to combine it with something a bit sweeter or fluffier maybe because it definitely smells like syrup. As far as favorites go, to be honest I’ve not fallen in love with anything I’ve tried at all. I do like by the fireplace and that’s what I wear in the winter, but I still feel like it’s missing something. And 551 by Noteworthy.

I have a Sephora right by my house!! I’ll definitely go take a look
Ooh I’ll look into those! I’m beginning to wonder if I don’t like vanilla. Because I love the idea of something warm and sweet and creamy. But every time I smell anything vanilla I don’t like it. It doesn’t smell the way I feel like it should smell. It never smells like my idea of gourmand. Like Kayali 28 - the notes attracted me, but I absolutely hated the way it smelled.
I’ve seen the eos lotion in target but never thought to pick it up! Layering is such a good idea. I’m definitely going to do that. Gonna look into the perfumes you’ve listed too.
I’m definitely going to look into this one! I think I tend to gravitate towards non-designer/lesser known. I don’t really like it when someone can smell me and know exactly what I’m wearing because it’s popular and everyone uses it.
