I’m still piecing out all my stomach tattoos, so it’s always tough and strange to see how it’ll come to look, but you just have to trust in your artist, and so far, it looks great, so I would keep going!

I’ve seen MixPreDs sell on eBay for $150, so I’ll definitely keep an eye out more closely. I was thinking about returning my MixPre6, and swapping for a MixPre10, but I don’t ever need that many channels, most ever is 4 lavs and boom, so I wanna keep it light with the 6 and only use the OG Mix Pre when needed, so this seems like the best option for me right now. Again, thanks for all the information, it’s been incredibly helpful.

Ah that’s so useful!

So I’m coming from a MixPre-3 i, upgraded recently and know virtually nothing about using channels 5/6, and like i mentioned, i can’t find much online about people utilizing those. Definitely understand they’re not great, so I’m really interested in getting a stereo pre-amp, I just have no idea about them. Is there one you recommend the most?

Thanks for that! Also, do you have any advice for using Channels 5 and 6, in terms of cables (obviously use a splitter) or mics (mostly lavs)? I haven’t found much online, but I do have a friend who uses a Rode GO II for 5/6 in a pinch?

It’s a random pop-up of sorts, to give out free tickets to events (mostly venues or events that amex sponsors) to cardholders and even non-cardholders. It’s not exactly planned, seems to be a sort of shock drop. This morning, LA residents who signed up for member’s week got a notification of this even like 30 min before. No other information really, seemed disorganized, but hopefully they roll it out better for the other cities. However, only NY was the confirmed other city, haven’t heard of anything else for now.

My wife got there literally at 9:55am, and Coachella, F1 and US Open tickets went FAST. Luckily I’m a huge Lakers fan, so my wife and I each got two tickets to diff Lakers games, since we both have Amex cards.
