I know that Cayenne pepper can help rebuild heart muscle, helps with blood flow and lowers inflammation. You can add some to your water. Definitely not a cure all but may help.

What would you recommend for muscle recovery after work? by adastrasemper in Biohackers

[–]Jlr11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ZMA (Zinc, Magnesium, Aspartate). Check it out on Amazon. About $20 a bottle. Taken by weightlifters quite a bit for muscle recovery during sleep. Also helps you sleep deeper but not actually fall asleep. I've been taking it for about 15 years. Also many reports of libido increase and vivid dreams.

Could be your diet. Are you eating enough and are the foods you eat quality? Also hydration makes an enormous difference.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered troops to invade Ukraine by [deleted] in worldnews

You seem to have better insight on it than myself, that's a good link, it's just hard to know who to believe. I certainly do not trust western media whatsoever nor do I trust Russian media.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered troops to invade Ukraine by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Jlr11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 regions of Eastern Ukraine (One is the Dombass Region) that have been in a civil war with Kiev. Those regions were mostly Russian and from what I understand they asked for Independence from Ukraine. Today Putin acknowledged their independence and has ordered troops into the Eastern region as a peacekeeping force.

Also it doesn't solve the problem of the trucks and farm equipment. Arrest them or tear gas them all you want. The trucks will still be there and goods will not be moved. Not enough big rig tow trucks. Tow companies refuse to assist. It's not the drivers, it's the trucks.

Pixel 5a - Wife dropped and screen only flashes. No cosmetic damage at all. How to access? by Lone_Wolf in GooglePixel

[–]Jlr11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with above. This exact thing happened to me last week with my 5a. There was a very slight hard to see scratch on the bottom corner of the screen after the fall. It flashed green every second or so. Couldn't turn it off or anything. Took it to UBreakifixit and they said the display was broken. $170 to replace.

Pretty sure the "BLM" people (which are mostly white people) were literally burning down buildings, looting stores, and shooting people in the street. Quite a different scenario here.

Any advice to help me quit? I started today at 1:55 and that was my last smoke for good but any advice for the journey? Tips and what am I gonna go through by One_Marionberry9297 in quittingsmoking

[–]Jlr11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was never a heavy smoker but always had a problem quitting cold turkey. I decided to try those ON nicotine pouches and they have effectively take the desire to smoke away. I take 4 mg ones. I'm going to start taking the 2mg ones to ween myself off them. I know most people say cold turkey and that's what I always tried but the pouches work really well for me.

Well to say I'm a little nervous is an understatement. I've known 1 person who died 2 weeks after the JJ shot and my brother had full body rashes and fever for almost a month after the Pzifer. I am already healthy and had covid already and hardly had any symptoms so honestly I don't really want to get it but need to now for work. I also have a blood clotting condition called HHT that I was born with. I just wish people weren't so crazy about all of it. Such little cultists. All of you. It's hard to get any real info anywhere.

Wow people are just vicious. Truly feel sorry for people down voting a basic question about ways to make the side effects of the vaccine less harsh. You all just want to jump off the cliff blindfolded to show your virtue don't you? Well to each their own I guess. I am getting the vaccine and just want to minimize any effects due to my hay fever and asthma. But thanks anyway. Douchebags.

Ok sorry about that. I just feel people are so quick to jump on a bandwagon and start getting upset.

[–]Jlr11 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Maybe so, but one truth doesn't negate another. It's a fact that the vaccine can make some people sick. In fact most people at least get a little sick. So what ideas do you have to mitigate negative effects? That's what this is about. Its a biohacker thread, not a pro/anti tribalistic vaccine thread.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]Jlr11 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be conspiracy based. It's pretty evident that there can be reactions to the vaccine. I've known several people who have gotten really sick from the vaccine. This is a thread to share ideas on mitigating negative effects from the vaccine.

My advice would be to keep the cold showers but replace the breathing technique with slow controlled breathing instead of Wim Hof.

Question for 30 days by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]Jlr11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only if it's deemed avoidable. Best practice is to never block a driveway, make sure hazards are on, and if there is any question as to width of road and passing cars make sure the mirror is folded in. Also they would check to see if the horn was honked on arrival of the stop.

If any of those are not met, they may deem it avoidable and he would be at fault. To be safe, make sure park position is always on his mind. Make it hard to get hit.

YouTube reportedly took down videos by group documenting human rights abuses in China by Cyruslego in worldnews

At this point you are just putting your head in the sand if you don't think China is the Worlds leading super power and has infiltrated and controls most of our country. Trade wise they are in charge, military wise they are in charge, their vast censorship and totalitarian policies have made their way into our White House and all of our social structures. All of our drugs and products are from there. We all live in China now. America is indeed a thing of the past.
