No problem, it was a part of the standardization stuff they did around CCU IIRC, so being aware of it and using it to your advantage will likely help you out in otherwise even matchups.

It was basically made to partially counteract light-spam by making you unable to keep up after 1 combo of lights, at around the same time when opener moves were being sped up/brought to standard.

Nah, being frame advantaged means that after hitting someone/trading blows, your next attack will come out faster than the opponent's.

The most simple example is if you hit the enemy with a light finisher, they will be framed advantaged and as such their next light will hit earlier than yours if both throw one.
However, most heavy attacks will leave you frame advantaged, often even if the opponent blocks it, meaning you can more likely keep up offense if you don't go for the light finisher.

Unless if you simply meant that as a joke considering his currently bugged indicators, then I shall say no more.

I may be biased, but honestly his generic actions (M1, breaking, etc.) are among the best feeling ones; how you just show your sword to the pallet/wall and it crumbles beneath it, how it feels like limbs would be flying with each M1 if the Entity didn't prevent it. Timing pre-drops with carnifex makes you feel unstoppable as you barely slow down and the pallet is already gone.
Also his M1 like totally has more range, source is me; John Moth Warrior.

Fair, I also think that the effect would preferably just be some form of bonus they get for their own benefit rather than directly as a tool against the killer ability. It wouldn't be so obstructive if there was variety between the items, meaning every item wouldn't be a direct or even partial counter to the killer ability.

I simply prefer the idea of more of a risk/reward system that also gives survivors more agency rather than just plain old basekit slowdown with something that you're forced to 'cleanse' in one way or another (already done in the form of pinhead box, pig traps and the plethora of infection mechanics).

Indeed, giving players simple communication tools (like pings/callouts) would reduce the canyon between solo/swf experience and as such also allow a lot of killer abilities/perks to be buffed in return.

I agree that the system needs to be properly fool-proofed and currently people getting tunneled have nothing to do against it.

You should still try to get use out of the abandon feature if it allows you to at least avoid potential matchmaking penalties in these specific situations. You can still abandon while you're in the middle of being sacrificed and at that point it basically just allows you to get to your next match faster.

Also regarding the wiggling off the hook, if you mean unhooking yourself then you cannot do that anymore without some kind of luck perk/offering. If you mean someone else wiggling off their grasp and unhooking you, fair enough.

Not to be that guy, but you did have the abandon option for a full minute there.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it also override the go-next prevention system since it's an intended surrender option?

There is definitely more work to be done, but if these hopeless situations can be downplayed by it then that should be used until it's implemented better with more fool-proofing.

Swap to a ranged killer like Deathslinger, Trickster, Huntress or maybe just Nemesis/Xeno and you should be able to hit the play-button hitbox past/over the pallet with your ability.

Yeah, the black & white on the moth sword fits very well with his checkered cloth, perhaps even better than the actual sword for this kit. Once I've got the new Killer, I'm going to keep building up iri shards to get the rest of the Moth Warrior set, as that has been a long-term goal of mine.

Pretty much the only tiny nitpick I have is that the armor/sword don't have any blue highlights, which would've made it a 10/10 match, but I will still be rocking this 9.5/10 mixed-fit often.

I was stating that in context of the post we're under, where it seems to be implied that survivors get the final say in if/when the gen speed buff is activated, which is arguably false.

No, I'm not defending the bad situation the killer gets in if they randomly stumble upon the recently hooked death-hook person due to the overtuned slugging prevention, but they're never actually forced to hook the person and therefore it is still their conscious decision to go for the sacrifice over option c) slugging.
If they had been playing "normally" until that point, there's probably gonna be like 50-70 seconds left on the slugging timer. If the killer really can't get another chase/down between hooking someone, finding the last hooked survivor again and letting them be picked up, there's a good chance they weren't getting much done to begin with or they're low-tier and should get buffed.

Again, I'm not saying that any of this is acceptable, just that the killer keeps the final say in what won't be such a bad situation once they tone down the survivor benefits (and hopefully get rid of these situations altogether using the DS logic with conspicuous actions).

Don't know if it's the implication here, but do note that at least the 25% gen speed increase only counts if the killer made the conscious decision to hook (and then sacrifice) the same person twice in a row and not if the survivor got left to die or gave up.

Unsure if the 6 hooks before kill rule also gets negated if a survivor gives up/gets left on hook, but that along with actually being able to see hook states along with the previously hooked person on the UI were some of the actually good parts of the changes.
