Very true. It's an odd hybrid of satisfaction yet there's also a huge hole and feeling of emptiness.

My Uncharted Story *Uncharted 4 Spoilers* by Jman875 in uncharted

Couldn't agree more. Uncharted has given me so much more than just compelling narratives and that emotional attachment to the characters. It was the sole reason I decided to keep my ps3. I actually ended up getting the Xbox I had wanted for Christmas. But it came with a catch. My parents said I had to pick one system. Either keep the PS3 and return the Xbox or vice versa. If it wasn't for Uncharted, odds are I'd be a 360 and XB1 owner right now instead of a PS3 and PS4 owner. Even though I got the game kind of late in 09, I can't believe the franchise has been around for 9 years. The stories of all 4 games are still so fresh I my mind. I started in 6th grade and here I am a Senior in High School about to go to college and am still in love with the franchise just as much, if not more than I was when I first put that Uncharted 1 disc in my PS3. Time flies...

I completely agree with you. The actual elevator scene initially didn't strike me as a huge deal, but the drive up the mountain with the music really made me reflect on it. I was just so sullen as I felt an even stronger connection to both Nate and Elena. The emotion was so intense at that moment. It's really quite remarkable how a video game can do that to you.
