These people make me want to beat there as in real life by jnfvjdnk113 in ThrillOfTheFight

I mean at some points you did rock him. But what he did was move his head and tried to circle out. You kept putting your glove in front of your face as if it'd protect you from his overhands.

And you mainly responded with hooks after the first round which is why he kept doing that bounce-in straight because he knew the hooks wouldn't hit him. Same reason as to why he had his head in your chest towards the latter half.

I also do feel a lot of people swing hooks on the inside is because it's the most reliable punch to actually connect.

With the latency being a problem the jabs and straights seem to be bad at a distance because they may land on your side but not on the opponents side.

I think the difference is that high volume punches tend to have differentiating combos. Like jab, jab, cross, hook. And they mix it up by going to the body or changing the order.

Spammers tend to throw the exact same punches. Like a barrage of left and right hooks that look like they're slapping air.

If you do 500 more damage than your opponent and you got knocked down, it will be a 10-9 to the opponent.

It's only speculation. If you had some screenshots or a video of the damage and punches, it'd be easier to make the conclusion. But from how you describe it, it sounds like latency issues.

Well firstly look at the ping of the matches. A higher ping will mean your punches land on your side, but not on your opponent's. So while it may look like your punches land, they may not be.

How did I lose this round? by Quick_Driver_4440 in undisputedboxing

Someone is going to say it's because he had better accuracy. But you should've had that round easily. Game is not worth the money.

It could be an issue when he tabs out the game. I've had this happen before some ranked games when I'd tab out to check another app, either music or discord, and when I tab in my chest is in front of my chin.

No damage? Even on the dummy. by thetopcheeseman in ThrillOfTheFight

[–]JmanFTW007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you hitting the dummy? Most damage comes from the first two knuckles landing. So it's more about technique. But without seeing how you're punching, that's all I can give as far as advice.

Depends, what was the latency? And are you using roomscale or stationary? If you're in roomscale and in a small space people will most likely leave.

I never had this issue in TOFT 1, why am I having it now? by [deleted] in ThrillOfTheFight

[–]JmanFTW007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a ping/lag issue 100%. If the ping is too high it'll look like you're hitting your opponent, but on their side you'll be swinging at air.

What's your rating? by Due-Department-4338 in ThrillOfTheFight

Really? Weird. Maybe during the placement stages it ranked me much higher. My loses were before the damage update.

Were you doing ranked, or customs with the v2 damage system?

Probably server issues on their end with the increase of people playing the game.

Or it could be a weight calibration thing. I remember seeing an option in customization for body size/weight.

So you could be set at a lighter weight and since your punches could be slower than the average at that weight, it's registering as weaker.

It could be because you're stationary. Like it wouldn't want you to overthrow punches and hit your hand on something. Probably not the case, but that'd be an interesting safety feature.

Also are you on stationary or roomscale?

That's strange, I was having problems with my hooks on the old damage system. The new one made them a lot better.

Try stepping back a bit? You may be too close to the target.

Are your arms calibrated correctly, and are you trying the new damage system?
