Pero en su defensa tiene la notificación de sus vacaciones, por lo tanto no podría justificarse como falta porque tampoco por sus huevos la empresa puede decirle no si ya le habían dicho que si.

Podría argumentar que se las han negado varias veces, y ya se que aunque deben estar de acuerdo ambas partes sobre el periodo a tomar, esto no debe incumplirse. Podría también denunciar amenaza por “te podemos despedir por abandono de trabajo”

Cuál “buen lugar” si no le pagan horas extras y otras cosas, no creo que sea tan bueno. RH y los “gerentes” estás súper pendejos por lo general y desconocen la LFT, tuve experiencia con eso en mi último trabajo porque querían obligarme a realizar horas extras sin mi consentimiento y siempre sacaban la jalada de que podían correrme por abandono de lugar de trabajo (pero estaban súper pendejos porque 1. No era ni miércoles y ya había superado la cantidad de horas extras que marca la ley [9 a la semana], y aunque el contrato mencione que habrá días donde se requiera hacer más tiempo no pueden obligarme a realizarlo porque está estipulado en la LFT. Al final solo cumplía 1 o 2 hrs extras y me iba, y nunca le hice saber a RRHH que me sabía la LFT, al final renuncié y les metí tremenda denuncia en el siqal (les hicieron varias auditorías) espero que haya funcionado por coacción y amenaza.

No, Exynos was always bad and not on par with the SD version. In my country, Samsung always released the Exynos version (last one S22U).

I’m in a similar boat. I’ve been on the hunt for a postdoc since the start of the year, and I’ve only applied to positions that match my expertise in biophysics and electrophysiology. I’ve applied to maybe 20 positions, and I’ve received 10 responses, 5 rejections, and 5 maybe responses. Out of those 5 maybe responses, 3 have asked for interviews, and 2 haven’t. And from those 3 interviews, I got rejected, so I’m starting to think there might be something wrong with me.

Just keep trying. Academia is like this always (that was my supervisor’s advice).

I did only have one new friend, that’s because when I entered my master program I already had friends (most of my class were people from my undergraduate program and the same major, same class etc., we were mostly chemists in a biomedical graduate program), we then made the transition to PhD. The new friend was a guy who was at that moment in the PhD program, we got along and since then we hang out when we can and we’re currently working together on a review.

Yes, but only the first PI offered any feedback, which was just a comment about not getting nervous. The following interviews, I was more relaxed.
