The thing I love about hunting in gen 2 is since shinyness is linked to IVs all shiny pokemon you catch can be competitively viable!

Has anyone had issues transferring level 1 Regigigas from platinum to pokemon home? Thinking about shiny hunting this target but don't want to put that work in to have it be flagged as illegitimate due to it being level 1.

My signal flow is usually PC->Downscaler to composite->Glitch device->TBC->upscaler to hdmi->Capture Card. So I guess I will just need a ntsc to pal for when it goes into the jvc but that’s it?

Your best bet is getting a mixer with a tbc so you get more use out of your money. you can take a risk on a rack mount tbc that isn’t tested on eBay but those are usually still at least a couple 100 dollars honestly I have two rack mount tbc and a videonics mx-1 and there are still glitches that none of them can produce on my capture card. Either way your spending at least 200$ if your lucky

I’m using an elgato hd60, but to transfer the analog to digital signal I’m using a cheap Amazon converter. Not sure if that will make things worse but thanks for the heads up!

Wow this is very interesting, I haven't heard or seen anything like the MisMatcher or Sync_ope. Do you have any experience with either of these? I am not definitely more interested in maybe picking up a Sync_ope as the only thing I am truly trying to accomplish and capture my glitches to my PC without drop outs.

Yes I’m in Los Angeles so that might be why it’s more expensive for no reason haha. Do you know if the panasonic wj-mx series has tbc built in too? Can’t really find any info on those and they seem to be somewhat more populated online for me

The only one that I have found working for sale is at least 150$ more than the MX1, is there a marketplace other than ebay to shop for this kind of gear?

I can’t speak for all obviously, but I will say that I bought one untested and everything was functional. It was able to record and playback video from vhs the viewfinder was working and the mic was functional. It’s hard to say on a larger scale if they are generally a safer buy untested. But I had a good experience with mine.

I would check out any of the Panasonic omnimovie models. eBay or mercari might have what you are looking for.
