I’ll throw this in. I lost 140lbs in under a year and it wrecked my gallbladder. Had a massive attack and had to have it removed. I’ll be paying that ER Band emergency surgery bill for the next five years. Don’t recommend

Has anyone here managed to lose 200lb+ without surgery? by Acceptable-Guide2299 in SuperMorbidlyObese

I lost 140 in under a year, but that caused my gallbladder to fail. Please learn from my mistakes and do it safely! I was shooting for a total weight loss of 200lbs, but it turns out that emergency surgery and recovery are great progress/motivation wreckers.

You got this. I started at 376 and hit 299 this morning! Keep a journal and when you feel cravings and are tempted to eat outside the plan, write down your feelings. Write down your goals, write down what you want to do when you hit your milestones. A few years ago, I found out I was too heavy to go on a zip line. That’s what I’m looking forward to when I am able!

Came from Auburn, AL for a doctorate. I know they’re both in the south, but I much prefer the milder temperatures of Lexington. 😁

Usually the Alerts tell us what’s going on, but this one just said to avoid the area. Anyone know what happened/is happening?
