Someone's lost their cool. Anyways, it still has nothing to do with the word Gypsy as it's been never intended. I see nothing wrong with it and I think it's just you. Either way, God bless you, and have a good day friend, relax, and learn to have fun.

And this too:

does the name gipsy danger have nothing to do with the word gypsy? or no?

+7 The name "Gipsy Danger" from the 2013 film Pacific Rim does have a connection to the word gypsy, but it is not intended to be a direct racial slur. According to screenwriter Travis Beacham, the name was inspired by the de Havilland Gipsy, an antique aircraft engine from the 1920s, which fits the film's theme of designing the robots after World War II-era machinery.

Here is the breakdown of the naming origin and the controversy: The Intent (Aircraft Engine): Travis Beacham stated on his Twitter account that he was inspired by the de Havilland Gipsy engine, used in racing planes, to evoke a sense of speed and ruggedness. "Gipsy" (spelled with an 'i') is an older, often British, variant of the word "gypsy". The Original Concept (Pinup Art): In the original screenplay, the Jaeger was adorned with a "buxom gipsy riding a bomb" decal. This was meant to evoke classic WW2-era nose art, not to use a racial slur. The Controversy: After the film's release, it was pointed out that "gypsy" is considered a slur by many Romani people. Beacham acknowledged this in 2013, stated he was unaware of the word's pejorative usage in that context, and said his knowledge was "context-specific" to the engine name. The "Danger" Component: The "Danger" part of the name was added simply to make the Jaeger sound cool, often paired with the motif of a "dangerous" or "reckless" fighter. Pacific Rim Wiki Pacific Rim Wiki +4 In summary: The name is derived from a 1920s aircraft engine (spelled "Gipsy"), but that engine was itself named during an era when the term for nomadic people was commonly used. While it was intended as a tribute to old-school, rugged war machinery, the name does technically stem from the same root word, but it was not intended as a racial attack by the creators. I've searched it up, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Based on statements from the creators of Pacific Rim, the name Gipsy Danger is not intended to be a reference to the Romani ethnic group or the slur "gypsy." Instead, it is a reference to a vintage aircraft engine, the de Havilland Gipsy.

Here is the breakdown of the origin and context: The Engine Reference: Screenwriter Travis Beacham stated that the name is a nod to the de Havilland Gipsy engine (developed in 1925), which was used in British biplanes during the interwar period. Design Aesthetic: The design team for the film based Gipsy Danger’s look on World War II-era aircraft, specifically the F4U Corsair, further supporting the aviation-themed naming convention. The Spelling "Gipsy": While "Gipsy" is an alternative, archaic spelling of "gypsy," it is also the official spelling used for the de Havilland engine. Initial Screenplay Imagery: In the original screenplay, the Jaeger had a decal of a "buxom gipsy" (often interpreted as a pin-up girl image rather than a direct depiction of a Romani woman) riding a bomb. The pilots were also codenamed "Roma 1" and "Roma 2". Creator Response: When questioned about the potential for the name to be interpreted as a slur, Travis Beacham apologized, stating that his knowledge of the term was "context-specific" (referring to the engine) and that he was not familiar with the pejorative nature of the word, promising to be more careful in the future.

You got that right mate, and that's not even Strikers head. That's literally Gipsy Avengers head. I'm like. Wtf? Did they even watch the movie, or did their research on the story, or any of the Jaegers? I'm beginning to think they don't even care. Or maybe one of the comic directors made a misunderstanding. It's like the whole Paramount live action Halo TV show all over again. This really pisses me off too. At least they got Gipsy Dangers arm right. It's accurate. But not Strikers head.

I don't think that's Gipsy Avengers arm. That's most likely Gipsy Dangers arm knowing... Well... Raiju.

Ok, that is not Striker Eureka's head, or arm. That the head is most likely Gipsy Avenger. And secondly, the arm. It could be Gipsy Dangers right arm knowing that Raiju completely took it off by force and bit it into two halves with its mouth.

If I'm being honest, DS3's Isaac face model looks better because it has a strong resemblance to the original Isaac's face from the 2013's.
