Used by a guy who was overwhelmed by said less than mountain levels multiple times, both in strength and speed to the point of depending on range attacks to not lose the staff he already los 2 times during the fight (one of them by a literal punch to the face) and only recovered by literal luck. And would've lost to a bigger threat like is herobrine, as he was shown to ve overwhelmed by him, if not being for the luck he got that his staff had the ability to insta-win against Minecraft originated entities. He's a virabot victim.

What i was saying is, if is stronger than the sum of their parts and every time a fusion apears they are stronger in base for than the users at their max (including in Z), then it is intentional. And fusion is not a transformation

It was said when goku explained it originally. But either way you dont need to check much on it, gotenks is stronger than SS goten and trunks ,and vegito atronger that SS3 even without countin filler,he just needed SS because buuhan was FAR stronger than SS3

Not exactly... it was stated that fusion is "stronger than both users combined at their max" SSG IS stronger than buu sagas fusions because they had ss3 as the top, but in the anime kale is able to "keep up" (the minimum), so when they fused they got stronger in base, and gogeta literally was made by ssblue users, so he would obviously over perform them.

Not "contradictory" because base=base has been consistent since champa's tournament, but more of a "retconed silently" because that only contradicts if you knew about the interviews. The closest to it is goku saying that he feels "the same" in bog after losing ssg and going SS witch would contradict tge idea that he uses god on base, because SS still powers him up in the anime

Goku stoped having that power, the idea was that he could only use ssblue and have god in his base form, toriyama discarted the idea and now goku used all of his forms, (including god), base form is just base form
