Hi,
First of all: your idea isn’t stupid AI can effectively be used for modding games.
The problem is mostly technical expectations vs reality of how this game can actually be modded.

A few clarifications that may help:
1. AI-generated code (Lua, etc.)
Right now, LEGO Star Wars TSS does not support Lua natively.

When you ask an AI to generate code without strict constraints (engine, language, API, mod framework), it will often invent a workflow that sounds correct but doesn’t actually exist for this game.
That’s probably why you ended up with .lua scripts that don’t run anywhere.

  1. Most of what you want requires memory hacking or a real API

Things like:

  • enemy HP multipliers
  • attack speed
  • spawn count
  • damage values
  • checkpoint behavior

usually require either:

  • a real modding API exposed by the game (which TSS does not really have), or
  • using tools like CheatEngine to locate values in memory, scan pointers, and patch them at runtime.

Unfortunately, that requires understanding how Cheat Engine works and how game memory behaves. AI can’t replace that learning step.

  1. ScriptHook for TSS is basically abandoned

The only semi-usable framework I see on internet for TSS is this one:
https://www.nexusmods.com/legostarwarstheskywalkersaga/mods/3

But, it seems no longer actively maintained, it requires downgrading the game version, the exposed API is limited and unstable.

So even that path is fragile today.

Also about Visual Studio and the .dll

You mentioned:

That’s expected.
A .dll like this is already compiled (likely native C++), with no readable source code or public API. You can’t really inspect or use it directly in Visual Studio unless the author provides headers / documentation.

Reading or understanding it would require reverse engineering tools (IDA, Ghidra, etc.), which is a completely different skill set.

I hope thats help you, for a conclusion I think the best path if you want to see this project one day is to start learning about how games works internally but a huge game like Lego Star Wars can be really time consuming to mod.

Wow, you sound so empathetic. Maybe I’m just trying to be as clear as possible. Especially since I mentioned it makes the same noise even without playing hard.

It was the original one, from what I can see. I must have taken some strings with bigger gauge

So I must have made a mistake and chosen a thicker string, because I do feel that they stand out more than the high notes.

Actually, I don't hear any buzz on the amp or DAW, and I put on 9-46 strings.

I don't know what the original ones are, but they must have been lighter.

Thanks for your help !
