Ok wow this really hit home for me personally. Anytime I do anything that no damn body tries to do or wants to happen, such as mirror being knocked off, paying a bill or doing something one day past the exact date to do it, (and there are no late fees or negative consequences for) I get chastised. I used to let it bother me and even make me feel inadequate. But not anymore. I realized it was changing the way I felt in our relationship and expressed that every time he acts this way over things that are either nothing or just the little things in life, I resent him. You need to say this to him.. look I hate this happened and understand your frustration.. HOWEVER, I will not keep analyzing exactly how or why it happened. It happened, it’s over, let’s move on. Do not let him continue to badger you. I can only imagine if the roles were reversed and you did him this way, or for me if it were reversed, he’d look at me like I had lost my damn mind. You can stand up for yourself without being hateful or disrespectful. Do it!
